We passed this place in Foley while looking for antique stores. The name made us come back and give it a try. The guy who made our hotdog was a lot of fun to talk to and really knew his hotdogs. The prices were really good and the Nathan's all beef hotdogs did not disappoint! They have indoor and outdoor seating and we really enjoyed the hometown feel of the restaurant! The hotdog come with chips and a drink. Also I did not realize it until later but you can add ANY toppings and choose ANY specialty hotdog for the same price. Great deal and excellent hotdogs! This is a small little place, but full of charm and great customer service! Had a small inside dining area and some picnic tables outside. They helped us figure out how to get the best bang for our buck. We ended up trying four of the specialty hot dogs (we cut them in half to try each) and they were all really good! I have frequented this eatery many times over the years for not only their food but also the staff/owners. The Wacked Out Weiner remains my favorite hot dog place, especially for the price! The implementation of all-you-can-eat toppings in addition to the "odd" things you can add on top really makes this place unique. I always get a chili cheese dog with mac and cheese and "weiner dust" on top and it never disappoints. I love the fact that it is a local establishment too! When we walked in the gentleman behind the counter immediately made us feel welcome explaining the menu and the choices we had for our weiners. I had the Jim bob weiner with potato salad, bacon, cheddar cheese, and barbecue on top of a Nathan's hotdog. And for the wife she had the wacky Macky that consisted of Mac n cheese, bacon, and barbecue sauce, and a conecuh sausage! Both tasted phenomenal.
