We passed this place in Foley while looking for antique stores. The name made us come back and give it a try. The guy who made our hotdog was a lot of fun to talk to and really knew his hotdogs. The prices were really good and the Nathan's all beef hotdogs did not disappoint! They have indoor and outdoor seating and we really enjoyed the hometown feel of the restaurant! The hotdog come with chips and a drink. Also I did not realize it until later but you can add ANY toppings and choose ANY specialty hotdog for the same price. Great deal and excellent hotdogs! Stop and give them a try, you won't be disappointed! And finally they have one thing I am always looking for, meat chili with no beans! It was delicious!!!

The fine establishment !

Great food and great service - passed this every time I visit from Idaho and never had chance tot try- fun place and there's a lot of choices so I started with their original Nathan's dog and no bean chilli with cheese - it was very good look forward to trying the rest of them!!

You are what you eat!!

Cool little place and great homemade hotdogs and Sausages. So many options on ingredients etc.

Frito Pie dog, Reuben dog, chili cheese nachos, and a strawberry soda.

I will always recommend The Wacked Out Weiner for locals, tourists, family, friends, etc. They always have fresh toppings and a new creative shake every time we visit! We are locals, and we try to eat here as often as possible. It's one of our favorite places to go on our Saturday lunch dates. The employees are always so friendly and treat everyone like family. We went there today for a bite to eat, and I asked for nachos as my side. Unaware that they don't do nachos as a small side. So, I said that tater tots would be fine. I think the woman could tell I was a little sad about not getting nachos, and she made me a small side of them anyway. I was so happy that she went out of her way just to give me some nachos. 11/10!

This is a small little place, but full of charm and great customer service! Had a small inside dining area and some picnic tables outside. They helped us figure out how to get the best bang for our buck. We ended up trying four of the specialty hot dogs (we cut them in half to try each) and they were all really good! The Wacky Macky was my favorite! Highly recommend checking them out when in Foley.

The Wacked out Weiner, I got my Weiner Wacked at the Wacked out Weiner! When we walked in the gentleman behind the counter immediately made us feel welcome explaining the menu and the choices we had for our weiners. I had the Jim bob weiner with potato salad, bacon, cheddar cheese, and barbecue on top of a Nathan's hotdog. And for the wife she had the wacky Macky that consisted of Mac n cheese, bacon, and barbecue sauce, and a conecuh sausage! Both tasted phenomenal. My only and I mean only regret for the Wacked our weiner is that I did not get the sausage!! Please please please go here it is too great to miss out

Chicago Dog!

The Chicago Dog is very tasty, what makes this a five star is the people that work in here! First time in this joint and they treated us like we have been coming in for years. I look forward to coming here again and trying different dogs.

3 wiener combo for less than $10. Awesome.

Finally ordered a burger and Oh My Goodness! Truly the best burger I've had and it was Door Dashed! Perfectly seasoned beautiful beef. French fries and onion rings always on point. Love the atmosphere when we've visited in person. The burger MADE me write a review. Can't wait to have one there. Guess I'll get gizzards to go...

We both ordered the Old 27 ~ a burger with comeback sauce, lettuce, tomato and caramelized onions. Our server (thanks, Melody!) brought ketchup and mustard, but the burger was perfection as served ~ no additional dressing up required! Fries were simple, tasty and served hot. Altogether a delightful dinner in a fun place. We loved the music, too!! Outdoor or indoor seating, varied menu, kid friendly. We loved it! The outdoors with the Spanish Moss bedecked trees is never far away ~ and we did spot an intrepid short-lived roach (waitstaff shoes are QUICK!!) which in the end does yank a star away ~ but if you're hungry for a little something and you have a car full of family ~ you can feed them all here and probably have a story or two to tell later!

Okay, I am a spoiled consumer of hot dogs because I've had a regular diet of Coney dogs both on Coney Island and in Olneyville, RI and a have of Coney dogs in Fall River, MA (Nick's) not to mention many, many hot dog experiences at multiple vendors in and around Chicago. I have tried some pretty darned good dogs from Miami to San Francisco and even at street vendors in Mexico. (My honey never would be brave and eat those Mexi-dogs LOL) But these fine folks have roped me in with the one dog that you just can't find most places, THE SLAW DOG!! I have very find memories of leaving the YMCA as a kid, for many years, then walking to the corner Rexall Drug Store, where they have a soda fountain, and ordering my favorite hot dog with cole slaw. Of course I added mustard and onions but that's just how I get it here. The bread, dog and slaw are very good and I'm a happy camper. While I'm hooked on slaw dogs they do have a nice variety of other specialties beyond a basic dig like the Kraut dog, the Driftwood (smothered in chili) and the bacon dog (with jalapeno cheese & white sauce), the Alabama (with spicy peppers, tomatoes & white sauce) and the Galley dig which is everything on. I have promised myself to try that one day :-) They also offer over a dozen flavors of delicious hand packed olive creams which you can have in a cone or cup plus some cool specialty shakes and sundaes and, oh yes, floats! It's not a big dine-in place but my favorite thing is to grab my dogs or ice cream and sit out under one of their shaded picnic tables and enjoy the outdoors. Bottom line: These are some really friendly folks who have carved out a business with two of my favorite things. I recommend that you give them a try!!
