I wasn't sure how serious he was, as this was his first time expressing interest. To test his commitment, I made a deal with him: if he could jump rope for 10 minutes straight, I would allow him to pursue boxing. Additionally, I told him he would need to pay for all the classes himself. Without hesitation, I watched him go to work. Within a week, he had learned how to jump rope for 10 min, and to my surprise, he spoke to the owner himself and paid for an entire year of classes with his hard-earned money. I was shocked, especially considering he had been working since he was young to save that money. Fast forward six months, and my son, who could barely jump rope at the beginning, is not only learning how to box but is also building great habits that I hope he carries into adulthood. I found that the price is reasonable and comparable to what we formerly paid. Professor Joe is very good with kids. He is friendly and caring to all his students. His instructions are clear. Although we were new, we found that the people, professor, coaches, students and parents were all very accepting and kind to us. My son fits right in and is comfortable here. In August it will be a year for us being part of this Jiu Jitsu family. Mondays and Wednesdays students trained in gi. Tuesdays and Thursdays students trained without gi.
