This gym looks great! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I came here to see Veronica who is their massage therapist. I was recommended by a friend and I am soo glad I booked an appointment with her. I have a background in cheerleading and dance so my body has had a lot of trauma from injuries in the past. Lately I've been having a lot of hip and leg pain so I knew it was time to get worked on. I was scared to try cupping but Veronica was great at explaining everything and made me feel comfortable. She worked in all the areas I needed help on and yes it was painful but a painful good if that makes sense haha. After three days I noticed a difference in my body. I was able to fall asleep without my hip feeling numb and didn't wake up feeling uncomfortable for once. Only been here once for a sports physical. AMAZING facilities. Most expansive gym I've seen with more than sufficient strength training equipment, cardio equipment, octagon and boxing ring, open gym floor, AND a full service training facility. When I say full service, I mean medical staff and trainers on site to help with physical therapy, recovery, etc. There were a couple people getting treatment during my daughters sports physical (female and male Dr's and training staff for those women who prefer a female professional to interact with). Very laid back and relaxed environment in the training facility. I'm sure the strength training area gets loud but what fun is pounding plates if there's not some noise going on!?! I know this facility also hosts several local trainers and training groups. Only small drawback would be parking from what I could tell due to the size of the facility. If it were busy, parking might be tough but I was there at 5:30 on a week night and the lot was full, gym didn't feel crowded at all. Always a good sign since an overcrowded training facility isn't much fun. Staff I interacted with was all friendly and professional as well. read more

I hired personal trainer, Brittney Reyna about one month ago. The sessions are held at SMTC in Temecula. The facility is large with plenty of equipment and it seems like a good place to work out. The only drawback is that you can only go inside when your trainer is there. So, I cannot work out on off-days from my trainer in this facility. I had to join another gym to go the other days. Brittney is very good, pleasant to work with and certainly knows what she is doing. She is very knowledgable and treats me fairly. I've seen some other trainers that are rather loud and animated which is not my style. Brittney is very methodical and down to earth. I would recommend this facility if you are looking for a personal trainer, just do your research since they all have different approaches, styles, and prices. read more

The one thing that drew me to hannah was her bubbly and inviting personality, and the HUGE emphasis she places on mental health. I started training with Brittney (@reignandgain) a few months ago. I hesitated joining a training facility because I did not regularly go to the gym and had zero experience with weight training, I was sooooo nervous. From the moment I met Brittney, I knew I was going to join and she truly is amazing! One of the very few trainers who not only focuses on physical fitness but also provides you with a meal plan that was easy to follow, which really did make it feel less overwhelming. I truly enjoyed every session I had with her, she's very professional, takes her role in your journey very seriously but is also very kind, fun and an overall pleasure to be around. Always a good balance between professionalism and having a good time. Although, I moved and won't be able to go in person, I couldn't imagine not training with her, so online it is! She kicks my butt every single time but also is intuitive to my level of fitness (which is not the greatest) but she manages to push me and get me to do things I wouldn't do myself if I went to the gym by myself. My experience at SMTF has been breathtaking. I started at the original location in Murrieta, Ca in August of 2015. As of now I am 24 years old still currently working as a Personal Trainer at our new 18,000 SQFT facility doing what I love and making $5,000-6,000 a month. Since day one I was nervous to begin a new journey for myself. Long story short, I was 22 at the time in my 2nd year of college failing multiple classes and not knowing what to do with my life. I walked into the facility getting windows tinted next door and met Miguel. First impression was insane. The guy knew how to talk to someone and be real with you about what he can offer for me to pursue my career in personal training. I took the offer and ran. Started my certification and started instantly. This facility has not only helped me change my clients life but change mine as well. Financially I am making more than I ever have, more than most people I know who have full time jobs with degrees, all in working part-time hours as a independent contractor SELF MADE personal trainer. I have grown not only as a man but as a strong entrepreneur working here. It has taught me how to run my own business, manage my life, be able to help change peoples lives for the better and all while doing what I love at the same time. This gym is by far my favorite gym I've ever been too. I absolutely love that you have a personal trainer that actually shows you what to do and correct form etc... I'm used to doing barre, pilates and yoga so I appreciate the resistance, weight training , conditioning and cardio I get in a one hour session. I trained with Kayla for a little over a year before leaving (due to work relocation). When I say I was a total gym noob, I meant it. I'm the type that has gym anxiety and fear of judgement so I really dreaded going before meeting Kayla. But Kayla's programs were very beginner friendly and she provided so much support and reassurance beyond just training! I've truly learned a lot about the techniques and I'm confident that I can bring what I learned from her into my own routine moving forward. She's also a great conversation partner and you can tell how passionate she is with everything she does. In terms of the overall facility - it is huge with a variety of offerings. Even on the busiest days I had no problem getting in a couple sets of anything I wanted. There is still equipment that I haven't tried out. Absolutely love this place. Started training here back in August 2022 with Derek Johnson and haven't looked back once. Started with a short 5 month bulk where Derek walked me through the basics of lifting heavy to put on size. Utilizing the app to keep track of my workouts and dial in my nutrition Derek helped me put on around 5-6lbs of muscle. Then January 1 we started a long and slow cut to get ready for summer and a planned trip to Europe. 5 months in after numerous tweeks and adjustments to my workouts, cardio, supplement suggestions and nutrition Derek helped me lose almost 10% body fat and 10lbs of overall weight while still putting on some lean muscle mass. Derek is also very experienced in power lifting, body building and strength and conditioning. The gym itself is amazing as well. The equipment is top notch. Never over crowded. Hidden away near the hills of Temecula off Winchester Rd is Self Made Training Facility. A huge gym powered by some motivating people. I came to Self Made to train with Bruce on Wednesday and fridays during his bootcamp classes. Before arriving I was so nervous because I'm not in the greatest shape and not to gym savy, but I was warmly welcomed and love it here. Bruce is so welcoming and is so kind when I have trouble keeping up. I love the bootcamp classes because they are tough. These workouts are no joke!! I leave feeling amazing and looking forward to my next session. The trainers at self made take pride in what they do and it truly shows! They push their clients and motivate you to wanna work harder to achieve your goals. If you've been interested in a trainer or class here, I'd look into it cause it's definitely worth it. As a person who isn't extremely fit, I am happy to have found Bruce and SMTF so I can push myself to reach my goals. I just started with Self Made and so far my experience has been great. I worked out prior to attending Self Made for over 10 years. I decided that I wanted to expand my workouts and focus on body fat loss. My trainer is Sean Shannon of FiTrain and in the short time I've been there I have learned so much about form and what to eat. I have lost 8lbs so far and I have noticed my abs strengthening and my glutes haven't worked this hard. What I enjoy most is that if I have any questions I can text Sean and he will answer as fast as he can. He also will send a random text asking how I am doing with food.
