The classrooms are filthy, staff are rude, and management seems to just sit in their office all day. I've heard teachers radioing for help (back-up in the classroom) only to walk by the office 10 minutes later and see no rush or no movement to help the teachers. No wonder staff turnover is so high! Most of the staff who work at this facility have little to no educational accreditation. YIKES.

But here the new director is working hard to make this the best daycare in the Tri-Cities. She is making positive changes, bringing in skilled and passionate staff, and making hard decisions. I see we still have a ways to go, but if I had to send my kids to daycare this would be it. I always see her…read moreworking on a project, actively participating in the classrooms etc. Our very first time we showed up without an appointment accidentally and she immediately took us inside and showed us all the classrooms. The kids were playing freely which is a good sign! The pre-k class was having some learning time with the teacher reading to them. The preschool class was having free play and the kids were independently playing. My biggest fear is how my kid will be treated but her teacher Ms. Nichole has been so kind to her. She disciplines her in a very non-threatening way and always with kindness. My daughter is slowly becoming more independent and will be ready for kindergarten next year. It is a bit of a drive but I would rather drive out to North Richland where I know my child is safe and sound.
