This place does not know anything about the stuff that they sell. I just stood in a 20 minute line to ask for help and both of the employees got distracted and started helping other people. Really unorganized really bad customer service, really weird... don't go unless you know what you want and have a ton of time! Let me be clear, there was a total of 3 customers in the store and I the vitamin I wanted was not on the shelf, I gathered my 2 other items and stood in line. When it was my turn I showed the cashier, I would like to get these pills that you are out of, and it's ok if I have to come back, I just need the correct dosage. In the meantime another employee came out and they both went to the computer and started looking at it, then the second cashier went to check another person out. Then the first cashier, walked away from the computer, that I was patiently standing next to and started to check out another person. I waited, they both ignored me, and I walked to the cash register and said are you both going to ignore me and stop helping me, after I stood in line. The cashier said, I had to stop because I didn't know what I was looking at. Again I exclaimed, this is really weird I stood in line and waited for your help and you just stopped helping me in the middle of it. The second cashier, looked over at me and said nothing. I ordered exactly what I wanted from Amazon. I also went to roots and they were very knowledgeable and recommended some other items as well. I walked in looking for a vitamin C supplement that my doctor recommended I take. A young lady by the name of Paris came to my rescue as I was pretty much lost. She not only helped me find the vitamin C section, she also offered a couple different varieties and she was able to tell me the differences and benefits of each. She also helped me find a good protein powder which was helpful since they have a ton of different protein powders. I very much appreciate customer service and product knowledge. My family has been coming here for years and they have been able to help us clear up rashes, warts and lower blood sugar. Our MD would not even help with some of that. i went in the store with my dad and we went our separate ways to find what we needed. i asked a worker where a certain supplement was and she showed me so i thanked her. i took the bottle to the back of the store where my dad was and handed to him and said i was going to wait in the car. the workers proceeded to say "that girl with the orange hair just stole some iron." they were going to follow me out of the store before my dad said "that's my daughter, she gave it to me." Loved going here for many years but the customer service is not happening now!!! I can order anything I want on Amazon Prime from my computer and it comes in a day. The reason I have been coming here was to be informed about the products I am buying. I was willing to pay more for your knowledge. I came in with a product that I thought you would end up returning due to crystallization of the powder. I was told it was too old and couldn't be refunded. I still purchased new product and got some info on good dosage for what I was looking for. The man helping me was called to the front to help another customer. I said aren't you helping me? He said yes and continued to help. I finished shopping for my supplements and was ready to check out. He said I'm going to ring this other gentleman up real quick. The man had just gotten to the counter with his products. He rang him up and then came to ring my $100 Plus order up, I told him that the other 2 people working could have helped the other gentleman and said it felt unfair. Prices are fair to middin' and sometimes they can get "up there" depending on what you want, potency, quantity, etc. I would have ordered the supplement I needed online at a lower price but I had to have it today, so I'm really glad they carry it. They have a huge selection of supplements however, the only complaint I really have is it takes forever for them to get the latest BANG flavor. I have to say - there are some really outstanding people at this location that have changed my mind. I've never experienced anything untoward from the manager I called out in my first review. In particular, manager Steve is worth a trip in. I never brought up my bad experience in the store, but my review was read. I was personally recognized as the author and he went out of his way to address my concerns with humor and sensitivity. Honestly, that is above and beyond the call of duty. I actually enjoy coming in 5 seconds before they close if I've finished up training early enough. Makes me laugh- generally someone shouts "QUEST BAR!" when I walk in the door. I never leave negative reviews. I have been shopping here for years, have spent thousands of dollars at this location. Tried to walk in at 8:55 pm, although I understand they close at 9pm. I was coming home from work and was on the road for over an hour as I work in San Diego and live in Temecula. I desperately needed to buy my regular monthly melatonin purchase along with other items valued over $200 which I buy regularly and monthly, I already knew where the items are located in the store and the transaction would have taken less than 2 minutes, as always. The door was locked and the staff stood behind the counter shaking their head "no" while they were in the process of ringing up a customer who was already in the store. I asked them to open the door and they continued their business. I took myself and 3 year old daughter whom I just picked up from daycare back in the car and left. As a manager myself I understand and appreciate the timing and needs of a business, however it doesn't take a whole lot to just be courteous. I think I figured out the problem with the Menifee store and Temecula store. I went in today I was greeted 2 employees on the floor. I went In quickly to find the nuts and more spread and some hair vitamin supplements and 2 quick snacks as my mom was waiting so I grabbed 2 protein bars. At no point at all was I offered help or was tried to be sold something. It's just a bad experience going into these stores. I asked the associate if they had the same DM as the Menifee store. He said we do but he got promoted so we don't have a DM right now. Some girl is overlooking our stores. Well what a great job! Honestly I realized today after thinking about it and using Google that nuts and more is cheaper online with free shipping by $3 a jar! I can buy any protein bar anywhere at this point or Gnc.
