Highly recommend this location, and simply can not say enough good things about Jackie!

Natalie is awesome. She listens to what you want and will offer to make suggestions if she has an idea that might be better. I have reviewed previously but also wanted to share a recent experience…read more Jackie is an amazing stylist who goes above and beyond for their clients. I purchased a condo in a 100 year old building about a year ago. While I love my home, the hard water has been wreaking havoc on my hair. It has been dry, gummy and heavy and turned my blond highlights brassy and dull. Unfortunately, installing a water softener is not an option. Jackie reached out to a stylist contact to help me find a solution. We applied a detox treatment and the results are amazing! My color looks fresh and clean. My hair texture is soft and smooth with no tangles/ breakage and just feels lighter. I am still amazed by the results and want to thank Jackie for taking the time to look into this for me. They are the best!

The place is modern and stylish. The atmosphere is relaxing and intimate and fortunately I had a short waiting time. The best experience of the wait time was not surfing through my phone, or flipping through the pages of a GQ magazine. Oh no, it was being offered a refreshment and sipping a glass of whiskey. They offer other refreshments such as water and soda, but I decided to keep it classy. Maya was my stylist and let me just say that she is excellent at what she does. She asked how I typically style my hair and after a few back and forth comments, she went straight to work. I wanted a new look and let her take the wheel. The overall style was everything I was looking for. I was highly impressed with my experience that I also purchased some styling product she used to give my future styles that extra flare! Thank you Maya!

I understand that things often get delayed at a barbershop and you need to be a bit flexible. But rushing to get there on time only to sit and wait for FORTY FIVE minutes while the stylist finishes their last cut...and make ZERO effort to wrap things up somewhat quickly? No. This happened twice in a row. There is no way they would extend this same flexibility to a similarly flaky customer. Trying to avoid this mid-afternoon buildup of delays, I scheduled a morning appointment only for the stylist to text me directly and cancel outright because of car issues, offering an 8pm haircut instead. Lol, yeah, no. FAIL. Some of the other reviews here are spot on: the attitude at this place is one of thinking WAY too highly of itself and reeks of too-cool-for-school, try-hard hipster BS. Choose one of the other many nearby shops that actually show they care about keeping your business and respecting your time: Tailor Barber, Old Town, etc.

No one other than Emily has cut my hair since I started going to her a few years ago. And when I say no one, that means no one. When she left her last place unexpectedly, I had to find her on social media (and another first, slid into her dm's to find her). The first time I went in I had her be the artist using my hair as her canvas and I couldn't be happier. To this day, I don't really say much and just let her do her work. I've been through several different haircuts with her and more than happy every time. She's more than just a stylist, she makes the 30 minutes in her chair fly by. This should be good enough for you to book an appointment. Cheers!
