We stopped at this restaurant while we were doing a tour of Ireland. Because the restaurant is so close to the water, I ordered the fish and chips. The restaurant is small and had a pub bar as you enter. We were greeted and seated promptly.
The fish and chips looked delicious, but unfortunately, they were not as good as they looked. They were not crispy and instead a bit soggy. They had more of a light panko crust instead of your typical beer batter. I will say that the tartar sauce was delicious, so much so that I asked for seconds. The menu mentioned the fries were fresh cut, but they looked frozen to me. The side salad was not very tasty either. The prices were reasonable.
Overall, this was a nice restaurant pub to stop by near the water. The service was fast and the staff was courteous. The fish and chips were not good in my opinion, but other people in my group enjoyed the other sandwich options they had. read more
