On my drive home, I lost several lashes on my right lash line. Throughout the next two weeks, I continued to lose lashes rapidly from the right side. By the time I returned for my fill (after two weeks) there were very few lashes left on my right side and my left side still looked ok. Customer Service Review: I made a fill appointment (in person) on the day I got my lashes for two weeks later (today). However today I was exactly 5 min late, and she immediately messaged me with a "no show" message following an invoice for $40. I was confused since that is her grace period according to her policy. I was scheduled at 4:30, but got there at 4:35. Her studio door was shut with a do not disturb sign. I found that unprofessional given that I was scheduled to come in. The respectful thing for Alexa to have done should've been to have her door open and let me know she wasn't going to take me in rather than just having her door shut. I know I was late, but it was within those five minutes "I'm allowed". As business owner I feel like they should be able to work with her customers. This was the first time I was late to an appointment with her. The only way of contacting her is through instagram, but it's not a quick response time on her end. Which I understand given she's working on clients. So I don't know how I would've been able to explain my situation. To add more to her being unprofessional Alexa blocked me on instagram. I was not problematic nor did I cause a scene. I don't understand the need to have to do this. These small business owners have all these policies you have to follow, but are ok to have excuses on their own terms. My advice for anyone trying to book with Alexa is not to count on the 5 minute grace period she claims to give. This whole situation made me feel like I was scammed since I was within my 5 minute grace period, but was still charged the $40 without any service.

I was highly recommended to Sam by my daughter. I have never gone to Sam for any services but my daughter had a wonderful experience with Sam having an eyebrow lamination. So needless to say I was excited to see Sam. I drove about over an hour out of my way but boy was I glad. Sam did an amazing job! My eyelash perm came out perfect! Not only was she so professional - it felt great, no discomfort or stinging. Also she was very gentle and friendly and made sure I was comfortable. I get anxiety and she made sure I was at ease. The place is so cute in the cutest charming building on the cutest charming old street. It looks like it must be historical- inside a historical building which had so much character. My treatment went great, best customer care, the interaction was amazing and the ambiance was also great. AND her prices are competitive and she gives really good results. I have had eyelash perms in the past that were a disaster- so I was looking for someone really good hence my driving so far. I would fly to London if I had to just to see Sam.
