I met with Jessica, the coordinator for Garden Near the Green multiple times, and our last meeting was 2 days before the wedding. Our wedding was at 5 pm and she told me that we could only come in 30 min prior to wedding to set up our own decorations and if we wanted to come in sooner we would have to pay an additional $100 an hour but she would have all the decorations we purchased from her set up before hand. So I paid her the money so that I could come in earlier. When I get there and nothing is set up. We ordered burgundy chair sashes and table runners and they were not even close to burgundy they were bright red and she said there was nothing she could do about it. We were supposed to have chair sashes on all the chairs for the wedding and reception and we had none for the wedding. We were supposed to have 3 candles with lights for centerpieces we had 1 candle. We were supposed to have sashes on the shepherds hooks, we had none. She was supposed to stay and coordinate the wedding and reception and left halfway through. I ended up in my car crying on my wedding day.....Every time I think about my wedding I cry, I can never get that day back and I will always think about it with sadness. I would definitely recommend not having your wedding here. They are very unprofessional and I truly wish they could have been in my shoes that day so that they would know how it feels.

I don't know the specifics for the amounts that were charged, but I know that they had it on a Monday night, because it was cheaper than a weekend. They had so many decoration options and I think it was less than $500 to add all of those options. Very reasonable amount. Perfect location, gorgeous views and amenities! Check them out! Oh, I'm pretty sure this location doesn't allow alcohol, so be aware of that if you are needing a venue that allows alcohol.

We messaged but did not get a response. The room phone was still out of service. Learn from my mistake - if you get here and the room is hot, ask for a new room straight away! There is not a boring inch in the whole facility as they even decorate their employee access doors with intricate art work. Tasteful planters everywhere. The employees and volunteers are helpful and friendly. Such interesting information on species and habitats. A shout out for their café. Reasonable prices for delicious food. It was $13 for a pub smash burger and drink and fries. Only a couple of bucks more than a #1 at In-N-Out. It was really tasty! Bun was homemade delicious. The fries were exceptional. Crispy outside and creamy inside. Garlic fries. My wife had the Romain lettuce something bowl with pulled pork. She said it was excellent. Very generous portion as she got full half way through. They had a lot of animals that isn't usually common to see at an Aquarium. I saw huge roaches (YEEUUCKKKK), they had a snow leopard, a Komodo dragon, sea otters and some more. Where the sea otters are it looked like the beautiful formation rocks in Utah. We had such a good time.
