I told so many people that I wished that Heather, our Executive Planner, planned more things in my life. Monthly calls with her for the two years leading up to the wedding were the highlight of the month. She could not have been more responsive or done a better job of keeping us on track. It was particularly reassuring to know that we were in good hands given that we were planning this wedding from afar. It was so helpful to have her team recommend pre-vetted vendors so all we needed to do was review their websites and have a quick chat (and of course we loved all their recommendations). Michelle was the one with the artistic vision who did all the gorgeous design work. Let me tell you, this wasn't just a few "vision board" photos. This was a 60+ page design document complete with suggestions for invitations to floral to drinks that matched! Then she and the team brought it to life. The wedding itself was an absolutely dream, above and beyond what we'd hoped, but that also wasn't a surprise because we'd known all along that we were in the best hands. Everyone commented on how relaxed I was on the day of the wedding, but that was because I trusted Heather and the team with 100% confidence and they did not disappoint. Due to COVID-19, they messaged us just 6 weeks prior to our ceremony letting us know that they were closed and would be unavailable to reschedule. With Braelynn, she wanted to make sure that no matter what we chose, we would have our fairytale wedding even during the pandemic. We were married at the Church of Dirt and had our reception in our family's backyard. Despite the drastic change in scenery, I wouldn't want our wedding any different because it was absolutely perfect down to every detail. Being naïve, I wasn't sure that we needed a wedding planner at first for a backyard (or any) wedding but I was completely wrong. When talking to Braelynn in our first meeting she already planned out who would be best to hire, how it would fit in to our budget, and went over fine details that I would have never thought of. Braelynn is very easy to talk to and loves to work with whatever request you have to make your wedding perfect. In addition to your own requests, she gives out much need advice on what would help that is often overlooked by the bride and groom. I attended an event as a part of the volunteer committee that was helping with some of the logistics such as food and clean up, so I got to see a little bit of the behind the scenes stuff. The kitchen area is very small, but has a fridge and large ice maker. It's best for premade food that doesn't need a lot of prep. The staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating, if you do need anything. The main room is really pretty and has a neat ceiling covered in white drapery. It can be transformed to many different styles, depending on your taste. I especially like the large stair case that enters the main room, just inside the doors to the garden area.

He even went the extra mile to ensure we had food/water while we were mingling with guests. The venue itself is also beautiful -- the inside is beautifully draped, and the outdoor patio is shaded and a lovely spring/summer spot when the trees and flowers are in bloom.
