Add some locally sourced organic food, and a proprietor that caters for dietary requirements AND an art gallery and you'll get close to Annie's Tea Rooms. Probably the best Banoffee Pie I've ever tasted, not to mention the salmon and pasta; oh and the ice cream. This a place where you can wake up and smell the coffee and STILL be in the same place!

In short sub standard and massively overpriced. When we left we informed the staff that the salad was past its best we received no word of apology, only an "okay". Last point of note. One employee was walking his dog, holding dog toys, still in his kitchen apron. I don't care if you do this at home, but please have some pride in your business and treat your paying customers with the respect and cleanliness they deserve.

The scones are all freshly baked, and served with fresh clotted cream and jam. The cakes are all freshly baked and a dream. The pasties were made with meat from the butcher down the street, and flour from the mill, and it tasted divine! We met the miller and his wife, and they were so sweet and friendly! We can't wait to come back! A must-experience piece of Devon!

Just being open around 4 months, the place was recommended to me by my Cardiff friends, and was an ideal place for our large group to meet on a Saturday afternoon. The shop located on a corner with massive windows providing a good place to people watch and enjoy views outside. It is very minimalistic yet very spacious with a large array of vintage furniture which gives it an "established" feel despite being a young coffee shop. I was very impressed with that Little Man are very proud to feature at least two roasters at all times. This day I had a soy latte using coaltown espresso blend and a v60 using the wonderful James Gourmet Coffee from the very knowledgeable staff. I saw Aeropress, Chemex and V60 on offer.. I didn't get a chance to peak at the cakes or if they had a menu but I was very curious to see how they can use this huge space for events in future. Such a great Coffee shop with much potential!

I went straight for their own cold brew coffee (that comes in a lovely little bottle) which was excellent, nice and mellow, leaving me refreshed and suitably caffeinated. I'd expect the hot drinks match the quality. I wish I'd had a little more time to be able to settle in or go back, seems a good place to set up for a few hours, and when I left I wished I could take it back home with me to do just that! We managed to get a table inside, and decided on light snack of a teacake and to sample the Tregothnan tea (Cornish tea). The peppermint tea was light and refreshing, just perfect for a hot summer's day. The kitchen inside was a hive of activity, as more and more people descended on the tea rooms. We would have liked to sample more of the menu, but sadly we had a long journey ahead of us that day, but there's always the next time we visit Boscastle!

We've been coming here for the past couple of years, and it's highly recommended. The cafe serves vast and gorgeous breakfasts, full of local ingredients and just what you need before a long day on the beach. Options include a comprehensive veggie full English, and huevos rancheros (scrambled eggs with chili, onion and tomato). For a healthier choice you can have porridge with banana and honey, or fruit salad with yoghurt and museli. There are homemade salads, pastas and tapas for lunchtimes, and in season the cafe opens in the evening (give them a call beforehand to check). We had great tapas for our wedding anniversary last year - not quite what we'd planned, but somehow better for it. The whole place is chilled out, comfortable and friendly, and is a great place to curl up with the papers over a massive breakfast.
