I shipped a package through FedEx last week for an eBay order, purchasing the shipping label…read morethrough eBay. The package weighed less that 10 lbs according to my postal scale at home. I checked different weights for the shipping charges through eBay and it was the same price all the way up to 20 (or maybe even more) pounds, so I decided to put 15 pounds on the label just to make sure, since it was a larger box and my scale is small and awkward to use with larger boxes. When I dropped it off at the FedEx office, I put it on their scale and verified that it was in fact under 10 lbs. Today I got an email from eBay saying there was an adjustment to my shipping bill and they were billing me extra because supposedly the package was 27 pounds! It was literally less than 10 pounds. I called the 800 number and they said I would have to go through eBay to get it investigated. It was only a couple of dollars, but it is the principle of the matter, and that they lied. Anyone who works for a shipping company knows damned well the difference between 10 and 27 pounds. I also called the location where I dropped it off and he couldn't be bothered with trying to help me (Rob in Norwalk, CT at the Westport Ave location). I strongly recommend that if anyone drops off a package they get the weight confirmed (they don't print it on the receipt like the USPS does...makes it easier to scam and say it weighed more than it did.) Very aggravated that FedEx would be so dishonest and basically there is no recourse, so I decided to write a review. Also, from the photo of the package on the recipient's doorstep, it looks like they crushed the outer box even though it said "FRAGILE" all over it. SMH... Date of experience: August 08, 2024

C2C collected the proceeds and contractually was obligated to pay the estate within 5 days. One month later we received a check which bounced (the first of 2 checks to bounce). The owner freely admitted spending the estate's money to repair her furnace and stated she would pay the estate as soon as possible. With the involvement of a lawyer and the police the money was finally received in full 4 months later. We discovered after the fact that there have been numerous complaints about this business, lawsuits and criminal behavior by the owner. Please beware!

I brought in an Oscar de la Renta silk jacket to patch the sleeves since the silk ripped. When I picked it up, I saw that instead of an invisible patch inside the garment, they patched it and sewed, in crazy quilt fashion, all over the the rips that were formerly invisible on the surface. I was pretty angry and said that if they had doubts about the way they planned to repair the jacket they should have called me. The owner, not one bit apologetic, said he couldn't call all his customers. I thought up 2 ways to fix the rips but didn't trust them to do a decent job. I assumed he wouldn't charge me for the work. Guess what? He wanted half the fee. Sick of arguing, I paid for half the work. This owner made a serious mistake. The Cleaning business IS customer service! Had he been one bit apologetic, I would have been mollified and we might have worked out a way to fix the problem. I will never go there again and tell my friends about their disregard for my property, after all, we entrust dry cleaners with our clothes, if they ruin them, they owe us money! Stay away!
