Although this was a relatively small job, everyone I dealt with couldn't have been more accommodating or helpful. The team had the 350 booklets done precisely on schedule to meet an important deadline, which was a great relief! And their suggestions for changes on the initial proof really improved the final result. Not least, the price was very reasonable--in line with, or much less than, estimates from three other companies I'd considered using. In all, a terrific job and a great introduction to the company. After reading the scathing review of Baker's, I thought "I need to provide some balance here." I usually don't write reviews, but they certainly deserve a good one from me. First, if you want a really low price, hop on the internet, or go to Staples or Kinko's (now FedEx). Don't come here. That's just common sense. We did a whole stationery suite - design, extensive hand-holding, printing. Throughout, Maritsa (sp?) and the others clearly were looking at the developing designs with a critical eye. Maritsa is one of those people that, after a two-hour working session, you leave thinking that you could go have a drink with her and it still wouldn't be too much. She is so nice. And truthfully, the rest of the crew didn't screw up at all. Everything was timely and professional. The whole process was a couple of months: letterheads, note cards, little envelopes, big envelopes, 3 or 4 business cards, color choice, design detailsetc etc ad nauseum. I tell you, I hate having to deal with this stuff. Thank god for my wife, and thank god for Baker's. It was expensive I guess (I have no idea how relatively expensive), but all I know is whenever I pull out a piece of stationery, put it in a fine-looking envelope, and send it off, I have a nice feeling, something like "I bought a Mercedes instead of a Buick, but every time I sit down I feel good about my car." It's hard to put a price on that. read more

Easily the worst business-to-business transactional experience of my business career. Nearly every mistake that can be made with a business printing order and the proper way to handle a relationship with a client was made...repeatedly. From mispriced and misspecified first estimate, to paper substitution, to having to continuously chase down status updates to months(not days or weeks) of delayed order delivery to short counting actual printing to refusal to provide dies for paid-for business cards, how does this firm stay in business? Oh, and by the way, their actual delivered(pick-up, actually) prices are the highest in the area. Can we be the only customer treated this poorly? Caveat emptor. read more

Baker Graphics is amazing. They provide THE MOST prompt, professional, quality, speedy service. I needed invitations for my Mother's Memorial Service printed. I had a special 4 page format in mind that I could not find online. (I am accustomed to using Shutterfly and the other online services.) I walked in on Saturday. They had plenty of examples of other invitations. I could touch and feel the quality paper stock and see the quality printing. A picture is beautiful but to be able to touch and feel the paper and envelopes is another thing. What was amazing was that they called me on Monday and said we can print all the invitations and provide you with matching envelopes TODAY. They also printed some classy lables to go with the envelopes. I recommend Baker Graphics to anyone looking for quick, quality print services. Hats off to the customer service! read more

I had a similar experience with a basic poster mounting. Wish I had seen this review before taking them the work. The job was not professionally done and the company simply hoped I wouldn't notice. When I did, their answer was, "oh yes, we noticed that too," and didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with a wrinkled mounting being presented as a "professional job", and offered no apology or compensation (and it was not cheap). I could have easily written the previous review except I did not use the delivery service. Easily the worst run business and will go to great lengths and expense to use anyone else. Do yourself a favor and avoid the aggregation and waste of money. read more
