Two service providers, which could not be more different in the same day- first the Optimum store I visited just minutes before to return a cable box which is directly across the street from this UPS store; allow me to say the service could not be more different here. you're going to get pleasant, courteous, immediate inviting Service. it was such a breath of fresh air. This is a wonderful location. Which is a terrific endorsement for UPS since my home location is also wonderful. After a recent horrible experience at the Norwalk store, I chose to give the rest of my business, shipping nine large boxes to California, to this UPS store in Westport. The Customer Service here was courteous, cheerful, and helpful. They had some concern about 3 boxes when I told them of the somewhat fragile contents, but after they gave me some information and listened to how I'd packaged the things, we agreed they were good to ship as they were. The communication was professional, clear, and productive. I appreciated their input and their attention to detail! My packages were processed, labeled and sent on their way quickly--at a reasonable cost in line with usual UPS shipping charges. I brought these 9 boxes to the Westport CT UPS Store on a Saturday and they were delivered to California two days later, on Monday. Always had a good experience here with the employees and the work they do. Not sure about Ken L's impression of someone being so scared (in a UPS in Westport,) that they left the UPS Store. The employees helped me with boxes, stuffing, packaging, and shipping. They are also great when I'm doing Amazon returns- just walk in "leave it on the counter" and as I'm walking back to my car I get the Scanned In text. Very good store- no issues on my end. read more

I will never step foot in this store again. Very unprofessional guy behind the counter blasting rock music (this old couple there seemed terrified and walked out) and you can tell he couldn't care less about his customers. Although there was a line the other employee didn't pitch in and help. UPS should send monitors to their stores in an effort to weed out the unprofessionalism that I experienced. read more
