They worked hard, had fun and Dale was like a surgeon orchestrating how the containers were packed to prevent damage and get all my stuff in. Amazingly they got everything in and did it just under the hours they thought it would take. I was happy. Also..........one of the movers found $800 that fell out of my pocket into the yard and promptly brought it right up to me and said "this fell out of your pocket." How effin classy was that?? Many years ago I brought in a lot of business for Kelowna Self Storage as I suggested their business a lot for storage rentals and Uhaul rentals too and even rented the odd time there too myself of various Uhaul sized trucks. They used to suggest my moving help business at times and without any reason why or explanation when I asked as I was just ignored by the awful lady manager, they stopped the suggests and has to go two ways! My bus. cards were still in there though but not being handed out as I sent in a mover helper posing as a potential customer to ask who they knew that provides move help and they did not suggest me and he noticed my cards were behind another mover's! Not good at all. So then yes I posted a negative review...wouldn't you too...? 2. Today I was refused a rental from them as other my go to location was all out as end of month and they had one there to suit my size need dispatch said as we called and when we called she said she will not rent to me and will now be letting Uhaul know of this! He was not clear on exactly what I wanted so I drew it out in his book that he keeps his notes in. I clearly stated I wanted 12 x 24 DOUBLE sided lawn signs WITH steaks. I even drew the text how I wanted it and what colors. They were ready a few days later. I pay for them and saw it was printed on ONE side not BOTH ! I told the older man and woman that this was wrong and showed them Phil's notes and my drawing in his book. They said it was their mistake and would fix it. Great. I picked them up today (7 days later) and was told there is a up charge for the second side and for the steaks. I said "no, I was quoted on double sided with steaks". All they said was you have to pay it. Eventually they "only" charged me for the steaks. Whoopi. As a customer I have the choice where to shop and told the woman I will never shop there again.
