This business may be better than I experienced in terms of the technical aspects of shipping items, however, how do you own and run a business and you can't even muster a smile or a "hello" to greet your customer?? It's not that hard. It seemed like I was torturing him by needing to use his business. Weird. I'll definitely use a different shipping service the next time I need to ship something. The owner of the UPS store was rude and unpleasant.  I tried asking a few questions about a service, and he grew impatient and couldn't be bothered to help me. I prefer to patronize businesses that are appreciative of me choosing to spend my money at their store. Not helpful at all ... the two workers seemed overwhelmed and would not answer my question on how to pull up a QR code on an Amazon return . They told me they were too busy to answer that question (which would have taken less than a minute) . A customer in the store was kind enough to help and she even pulled me aside and shared with me to go tho Whole Foods next time for an Amazon return as it is a much easier process . Wow! I have a package to ship USPS postage paid! My usual location in Little Falls takes them at no charge. I come to this location because I was in the area and they want to charge a $1 to take the package?!?!? What??? Are you insane? WTH! This guy (the owner) has a personality disorder. It's like he actively tries to lose business. I've been reprimanded many times so I opted for returns with labels only (no QR codes) thinking this would be smoother. I was wrong. I got yelled at for "not telling him my packages had labels" even though they were very easily visible right on top. When I told him I've never made it out of his store without getting yelled at and it's kind of weird being abused by the UPS store employee his only response was "not employee-owner." I've brought this guy thousands of dollars of business. I've brought him boxes and shipments and packing I paid all his stupid little fees. And now I can't drop off packages here without him asking me to pay two dollars a package. So if you have a pre-labeled package with FedEx or UPS or USPS he wants to dollars to leave it there and have them pick it up. You sir have lost my business forever. I Went to Store #948 Berdan Ave Wayne location for an authorized Amazon free UPS Drop off return. I presented the printed "Free" Just drop off item, return label and was told they would not process the return without me paying a fee for packaging and service. Mind you I chose the "just drop off without packaging option by Amazon". The arrogant man said he absolutely will not provide such a service without charging. I notified Amazon who assured me the item was only to be dropped off and the UPS Store is responsible for packaging item and returning WITHOUT charging a fee. This is Poor Business Practice being deceitful and ripping off customers! Now I see the other reviews warning about this location! I've never had a problem here...as long as I've had my things in order. I read the negative reviews to date and they all seem to be about trying to do something and not getting the results expected. I've used this location several times and when my affairs were in order, things went smoothly. Unlike the other UPS location on Valley Road, Jim, the owner, is polite, professional and quick. He goes the extra step to help customers with their packages. He always gives a receipt for prepaid packages without me asking for one. read more

I decided to use this location , which has now moved to Valley Rd as we were in the area. I have used UPS to to return online purchases before and I usually get a receipt when I drop it. In case I was not offered one. According to UPS the package never left the location and the owner of the Wayne UPS store refuses to assist and ha been very rude when contacted. I've used this place for business and personal shipping for well over a decade. This place is usually busy and Jin does a good job managing everything. He is thorough, kind and respectful. The instrumental music gives me a mindful, calming headspace. You may have to wait a few minutes for your turn, but 'most' mature adults can handle that. While you're waiting you can browse the cute greeting cards on display for every occasion! I recommend using this location. read more

Walked in with my package already nicely bubble wrapped. Just wanted to put it in a UPS stock box, fill out a waybill, and have it billed to the receiver (allowed by UPS as long as the receiver has a verified account). Not only was I told that I could not ship unless I paid for it, BUT, I would have to pay a packaging fee. A packaging fee for a pre-wrapped parcel to put in a stock box?? Oh No! They had NO stockboxes available period! A UPS store under the brown label, but won't bill to their own account? And no supplies? Worst experience, will not go back. read more

Great store for shipping your packages. Owner is very friendly and is very knowledgeable about shipping. If you have to ship domestic or international then this is the place to go.
