Do not use them to ship anything you value. I paid over $1000 for them to pack and ship my items - including insurance - or so I was told. Now that one of the packages was lost - and by lost I mean stolen - they are telling me I'm only entitled to a $100 payment. They packed these items and they knew they were worth far more than $100 both in actual value and in sentimental value as they belonged to my recently deceased mother. It has now been over a month since my items were stolen and neither Bob nor Nick can be bothered to follow up on their failure. I've been repeatedly told that I would receive return phone calls about the missing box - I've been lied to every. single. time. I also have yet to receive the paltry $100 they claim I'm entitled to (its not enough to cover even 1 of the lost items). The only positive thing I can say is that the items I did receive were packed well. It's a shame UPS employs thieves who steal your items. I don't think my local driver stole the box - I think it was stolen somewhere between the warehouse and his truck. But both of my local drivers also failed to follow up on the location of the box. And the franchisee just shrugged his shoulders about it. Its been over a month already. So in short, no one at UPS, or their franchisees, give a steaming shit about your items, no matter how valuable they are to you. Outstanding place to ship your items! My aunt had lost her house in Hurricane Sandy. She had much of her stuff in storage and decided to give it to me. There were many valuable items and family heirlooms. Everything to me was priceless. There turned out to be about 7 megaboxes, and 100's of pieces. I want to say that Bob and Cheyenne took really amazing care of me and my things. I was able to drop off of the items and leave them there. They called me the next day with an estimate and really did their best to keep the price down. I truly thought that some cheap boxes and bubble wrap would do the trick. After receiving the items, I realized how well they needed to be packed. Not one broken item! This UPS does a great and thorough job and I would pick it above all others when I am in Toms River! read more
