Yesterday, I had a wonderful experience at the Southampton UPS Store. I'm always happy with their service and the friendly staff, but yesterday was especially exceptional. I called late in the afternoon to inquire about having dishes packed and shipped to Tennessee. The manager, Shahzad, was very kind and quickly scheduled me for 4:00 PM. When I arrived, the store was quite busy, and Shahzad was finishing packing another customer's items in the back. When it was my turn, he invited me to watch the packing process. It was unexpectedly fascinating -- I learned a lot about the care, attention to detail, and effort required to pack fragile items safely. While I was there, the UPS driver arrived around 4:30 to pick up several boxes. I didn't catch his name, but he was very positive and friendly, with a warm smile. He mentioned he had already made 200 stops and still had two more hours to go -- and yet his attitude never wavered. It was uplifting to be around such cheerful, hardworking people, especially with all the negativity we often see in the world. I didn't stay to watch the second box get packed because I completely trusted Shahzad to handle everything and ship it out by the end of the day -- and he did. His professionalism, patience, and kindness really stood out. I will definitely keep doing my business at Shahzad's UPS Store, and now that he explained the shredding process, I plan to use their shredding services too. Went there with an oversized package. I'm guessing the owner was super pleasant and helpful, carefully covering up the old labels (returning an air conditioner to amazon) so it didn't get lost in shipping. The most pleasant gentleman . Makes me want to ship more packages! It's nice to see a local business/ franchise owner take so much pride in what he does. read more

Rip off. Kept my stuff. Never scanned most. Told me I received tickets. Only received one. Over charges for 2 envelopes I purchased.

BEWARW employee charged me $2 to tape a box which I've never had done before for an Amazon return I thought it was weird he didn't type anything into the computer or the drawer open to put my money in. As I go to walk out I watch him put the $2 in his pocket. I will no longer ever return anything to Amazon using the UPS store. read more

Horrible experience. Spent a lot of money to send 3 packages out( 2 to one location and the other to a second). The gentleman who helped me stated he didn't want to rush and wanted to do it right so he would complete my order/ box and label the next day. Ultimately, he sent two of the packages to the incorrect address and poorly packed the one that went to the correct address resulting in damage to a family heirloom!!. Addressing the insurance on the damaged package was another problem. This location poorly communicates and is very rude. I only got their attention by stopping payment on my charge card. The gentlemen then criticized me for doing this and ultimately takes no responsibility for his actions or lack of. Finally received insurance check 10 months later after I did most of the work to accomplish this. Would award 0 stars if I was able!! read more

The older owner lady is just straight up RUDE... how has UPS not done anything about her or this location yet?! She's so aggressive & talks to me like I'm her kid or something. I've read reviews from years past & they're all saying the same thing. I'm a pretty patient person, but man...this lady tested me. It's not just one or two visits, but multiple. Fabulous for Amazon returns Dreadful for Notary Public Services Called Mon, 3/14 & requested service hours for Tues Was told 12-5 Arrived Tuesday at 12:45 pm to a line of people waiting for notary (notary had yet to arrive) Called 4:30 pm Tuesday to ask about upcoming hours Apparently this question was difficult for the employee to handle so he told me Notary would call me back....a man with what sounded like an Indian accent called me back 10 minutes later. Claimed to be the notary & said he wouldn't be there Wed but would return Thursday from 12-5pm. Wanted to know what I needed notarized, which seemed unusual. Against my better instincts, I told him. He said nothing more. FOOLISHLY ASSUMING that this man was trustworthy, I arrived today, 3/17 at 2:10pm to be told the Notary is on Vacation. UPS you choose who represents you....employees, contractors & subcontractors. This relationship taints you in my eyes & I'm pretty sure in the eyes of others, specifically the folks in line with whom I chatted with on Tuesday. Please do better!! read more

I had an extremely pleasant experience in the store. Very thorough job packing and care taken to make sure I was completely satisfied.

I've gone to Southampton, PA UPS location a number of times and every time I'm treated poorly. They are not nice and act like everything is an inconvenience. Today I left and went to a different location because as I'm standing there with a giant heavy box that just needed to be dropped off the associate proceeded to help a person who walked in way after me and left me standing there holding this box. I left and went to the Warminster, PA location, which is always great. I'll drive further and go to that location next time. read more

The only reason ALL of that happened was because I spent several hours on the phone over a 2 day period with both UPs and the Corporate Franchise Office. And you didn't even refund ALL of the original costs! In fact you argued with my husband over why he shouldn't get a full refund. I was in the store today with my daughter today and while waiting spotted what looked like an internet terminal facing the area where a customer should be. She needed to go to a website to print a ups label for her package to return rented books for college. Out of no where we received a "hey what are you doing?" from a very nasty women behind the counter. I was totally lost for words, as was my daughter. It was absolutely uncalled for. To top it off, the store couldn't help us print one piece of paper in the form of a label. We left and went to another UPS store where they couldn't be friendlier and more helpful. Exceptional Experience. Processed 5 Amazon returns with speed and friendliness that is uncommon yet treasured in 2019. There were two other customers who entered after me. He acknowledged each several times letting them know he be giving them the same prompt and pleasant experience in just a few moments. I brought in 3 boxes and was charged $261 to ship them. Ok that's fine the rates are the rates I get it. But I had another item I had to ship that needed a box. The guy behind the counter quoted me a price $27.00 for the box $70.00 boxing fee!! $97.00 to put something into a box??? Then add $63.00 to ship it. They are a complete rip off! They take advantage of people. Everyone do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!!! Go to fed ex or any other place you can find. This place is junk and hope they fail and end up closing. Will not return or recommend this store. Owner/manager is rude. I brought something in my own box, and they tried to sell me another box. I told him no thank you it would not be worth it I was only getting so much back on the return. Explained that they will tape the top but not the area that has a small tear and that if it breaks open they won't except the return. Wow! Thank friend for the great customer service.
