Not sure about the previous reviews but I had a really good experience here! Backstory: I was trying to get rid of a giant box of stuff that Verizon had randomly sent me. I say "randomly" because I have never been a Verizon customer in my life and I have no idea how they even got my address to begin with (just on the slight side of creepy, but that's neither here nor there). I got a glorious bill from them stating that I had to pay them back $350, so after waging war with them on the phone, I used my day off to bring it to the UPS store to return this box I never wanted. Can you tell I'm annoyed? Only a little bit. In any case, they were painting outside when I got there. The owner came and opened the door for me since he saw that I was carrying a ginormous box. They helped me stick the return labels onto it and tape it back up to be sent. I was in and out within five minutes and they were very courteous. Service at this location was slow and inefficient. I've only stopped by once but the employee who was there was quite rude. He didn't greet me and was moving really slow. When I finally said I was there to pick up a package he was somewhat condescending. It was an odd experience. I felt as though he was frustrated with me but I'm not sure why...I'll be using other local UPS stores from now on. read more

I went there today to have something notarized. After making me wait in the front while the two clerks looked at something, the lady came to the front. Told her what I needed and she said the guy is coming. The document needed two signatures and the other clerk refused to be a witness(I still don't understand why) without explaining why. I would give this store 0 stars if it was possible. They want to charge a dollar for printing a label which is fine but refuses for me to have Amazon send them an email with the label. Claiming that the store email address is only meant to receive emails from UPS. Then why bother printing it on your business card? They asked us to use the laptop to log into our personal email accounts to print the label, Now is my personal Data safety worth a $1? The owner is not in an honest business, stay away from this place. UPS needs to know how their brand is being represented by these people. read more

I would usually say good things about this UPS Store. I never had a waiting problem before when the owner or his son were there. Yesterday 7/12/22 at around 4:30pm was totally Ridiculous. The line was out the door and it was not moving. One worker was going back and forth making copies for someone. I stood in line by the door for at least 15 minutes and the line didn't move a inch. Finally someone came up from the back and he had to deal with a older women looking at here phone who looked like she never used it before by where they weigh packages. Nothing was moving. Many of us standing in line had prepaid packages that just needed to be scanned in and given a receipt. People in line started leaving the store. The fellow who came up from the back got lost again. Finally I opened my mouth to tell the guy making all the copies that people were leaving and couldn't he or someone take care of people who just need their packages scanned in and a receipt that being people were leaving the place but he could care less. I have seen the owners son handle a situation like this differently before. He would of held up the person waiting for copies and asked anyone who just needed their packages scanned to step up and he would of taken care of 5 or 6 people in a minutes time pretty much clearing out the store. Why couldn't the other Knuckleheads do the same thing? I really hope the owner reads my complaint. I left the store myself yesterday and need to go back again today with gas costing $5 a gallon today. As I said above Ridiculous! read more

The worst UPS store. Never be in this store. I recommend drive couple of minutes more to other store. This store is trying their best to make you purchase their product, such as envelope, tape etc. they never care if you really need these stuffs. I only mail documents, the free UPS envelope is good enough! But they said you need purchase extra envelope. I intended to ask for free envelope. The guy looks not happy because of this. Then, I want to stick a paper on outside of the envelope. They even said I have to purchase a new tape!!!. They have one on the table, but they don't want me to use it and said we don't have tape, you need purchase one!!! God! Never! Never! Never! Be in this ups store!! read more

I'm a regular customer at this branch and also use them for a personal mail box. I have always had Mike Patel be nothing but polite and professional. The rates for supplies there may be a tad high but I would say none of the other criticisms in these reviews seems deserved. They promptly notify you when you have received a package and have been extremely friendly whenever I have had questions. read more

This guy didn't informed me that there might me some charges that receiver might have to pay. Receiver got a call and UPs demanded 75 dollars more to receive the package. Why I confronted Mike Patel in somerset store this guy was so rude that he made a remark that he will only pass information to U citizens and nobody else. This was very racist . I asked the. The service is horrible I don't want to hear from the owner that he has owned this store for over 15 years if he is not familiar with working with waybills he should find out how to do it. My first time presenting a waybill at this store I had to call a different UPS store in Pennsylvania to walk the employee through the process she was at least honest and stated she didn't know how to do it. The employee I encountered on Thursday refused the assistance. When the owner returned he refused the assistance also. The problem was only resolved when another manager from a UPS store in Pennsylvania completed the transaction and emailed the owner the label. Even when the manager from Pennsylvania asked for a receipt to present to me, the owner refused a receipt and said just use the tracking number. Horrible!!! Do NOT go to this store. I went to ship a frame and thought I could trust this man to pack it for me since he is the "experienced" one....well guess not! The shipment got to it's destination shattered!! Luckily something told me to insure it. When I put in a claim to UPS they denied it because it did not meet their shipping standards!!! Are you kidding me?! I told them their UPS store packaged it. I went back to the store to tell this guy he'd better get my money back or refund it himself. At the end of it all I received my refund and will NEVER use UPS again. I was able to get another framed picture and have my friend package it and sent it out Fedex. It got there perfectly fine. Disgusting, that is all I have to say about this location. I went in to send my package out, prepaid from Amazon. The tape I had on the box was not sufficient for the owner, so we took it off. When I asked him where is the tape, he said he DID NOT have any tape in the store. I was a little taken back by this response, so I laughed it off. Little did I know he was being serious in the most demeaning manner. I understood now that he was a real jerk. As I looked as his stupid grin, there were two rolls of heavy duty tape right behind him. He went on saying that is HIS tape, and he bought it with his own money, and if I wanted to use it, I would have to pay him. I was utterly pissed now, it is one thing you take my OWN tape off, than lie in front of my face that you have no tape, and then go on charging me for something that is readily available in any UPS store. My advice to the general public, stay away from this Location, bunch of crooks, owner/staff very disrespectful, and dont appreciate the value of customers. read more
