At the outset, I'll admit that I'm cheap so for routine overnighting of documents or uncomplicated packages, I find USPS pricing far more attractive than high cost provider UPS and their retail arm, The UPS Store. All kidding aside, I'm cheap not stupid. For those occasions where you're looking to ship anything large or fragile, the UPS Store is usually the way to go, having the supplies and expertise to ensure that irreplaceable family heirloom doesn't turn into a glass snowglobe on its way to Sacramento. They're also terrific for understanding and navigating the thicket of documentation and fees necessary to ship internationally. Not an inconsequential consideration when it's imperative to get that first birthday present off to London before the kid hits puberty. Four solid stars. No matter how complex the situation, they always go above and beyond from boxing and taping to packaging everything with care and professionalism. Even though there are other UPS stores closer to me, I always choose this location because the staff truly treat you like family. They're consistently warm, respectful, and efficient. I especially want to recognize Umesh he's been a constant source of kindness and professionalism throughout the years. Every time I walk in, he greets me with a genuine, "Hi Tonya, how can I help you today?" That simple phrase always makes me feel seen, valued, and welcomed not just as a customer, but as a friend. I live right next to this location and I'll avoid going to this one unless absolutely necessary. Convenient location next to the CVS on route 1. Incredibly slow service. Space is run down and dingy. Never a good line system. Lines can easily run out the door just because of how slow the staff is. Half the time there's a line, there's only person working the register, sometimes you see the other staff in the back or on the phone. read more

Horrible experience with a quite unprofessional female UPS employee. I visited the UPS store to mail two packages for family members who had recently moved out of state, one of them was a box containing a holiday gift basket that had had not yet been opened. The employee asked me what was in the box, and I said it was a "holiday gift box" but was told that she needed to know specifically what, so I said one of those gifts with food, candies and crackers,etc. The answer wasn't sufficient for the employee and I was forced to open the whole thing and show her everything specifically, destroying the entire gift and its presentation. I didn't even end up shipping that package because the destroyed gift wouldn't be wanted- bow ripped off, paper torn, contents messed up!. I completely understand that the general contents need to be known as I have mailed many items from UPS previously but never before at UPS have I had to go through each and every item. Then, when I went to mail the next package containing personal letters, clothing, and a portable speaker, the employee began asking me what was in each envelope, suggesting I open each of my personal letters containing bills and financial documents and a box containing a small portable speaker. It was completely unprofessional. Again, I understand they need a general idea of what is being shipped but it was not this employee's responsibility to inspect each one of my items, especially personal mail! I have been going to the ups store for over ten years to mail my benefits to my union 3 times a year. Normally its just under 11 dollars to send. Last time I went there a new lady was working there and tried to charge me 27 dollars. The other day I was sending a package back to Amazon printed the return receipt and she said I had to pay for new packaging when the charge is already picked up by Amazon. I went to the ups store on riders lane had no problem what so ever I would stay away from the ups.store on rt 1 in north Brunswick the lady is not to be trusted. People like this lady should be looked into for not being honest or customer friendly. read more

I have been to this UPS store few times for notary, printing and shipping labels - and always walked away happy. The staff is very helpful, customer services skill are great & they genuinely want to help you which makes for wonderful service and satisfied customers. They close at 7pm but when I called them to say I am running late, they even stayed late till I got to the store. They offer following services at this location-- - Printing Services and Copying - Mailbox Services - Fax Services - Mailing Services - All standard UPS Shipping Services - Packing Services - Ground, Air and International Freight - Office Products and Supplies - Notary Services Their notary, printing and office services are cheaper compared to Staples & office depot so give them a try. read more

Indian couple works here, they takes minimum 25 mins to take 1 customer they work slow and don't know how to work. I waited for 45 mins and there was only 1 person infront of me. This employees are lazy and dnt know how to work fast. read more

I am giving 5 star to this particular UPS center for the staff. The most friendly store and I never went out disappointed. Especially, I had to renew my passport and I nearly spent an hour on my paper work. They truly helped me with every detail and I couldn't thank them enough. My experince here started off good. Associates were very polite and greeted me upon entering store. They measured my items 3 shoe boxes and some clothing in a gift box. They GREAT experience ended once it was time to pay. The guy cut the box down because it was too tall. So instead of saying oh we charge $2.50 to cut the box, I was surprised and charged at then end. All of my items was sealed with a shipping label, so at this point I just said F*** it. But Sir, why didn't you just give me a smaller box for my items? He just looked with an uncertain face SMH. I was in NJ from Los Angeles, and had a few items I needed to ship from my parents' storage unit. These included 2 very fragile china pieces, and a piece of furniture. The guys at this store were welcoming, helpful and so nice to deal with. They even asked me if I had AARP or AAA to get a discount (which I never would have thought of). The items arrived perfectly packed, on time, in excellent condition. Care had really been taken to get them to me, and I appreciate that kind of customer service. Very rude employees. 6/3, at 11:30 am, I walk in on my lunch break and the gentleman behind the counter yell to me to "put my mask on". There is no one else in the store. I oblige, but inform his that per NJ Governor Phil Murphy (like him or not) the indoor mask mandate was repealed last Friday, 6/28 for those who are vaccinated and I offered to show him my vaccine card. He starts yelling at that I should "read the fine print of the mandate and that it doesn't apply to his store" Readers: Please understand, this is not about masks, it's about customer service and common courtesy. All he needed to do was say something along the lines of "Sir, I realize the mask mandate was lifted, but I would feel more comfortable if you wore one" I would have said no problem, end of story. But instead, he felt the need to argue and lecture me. All I wanted to do was drop off my Amazon return and get back home to work. No need for the drama. I filed a complaint with headquarters in CA. If I treated customers at my job the way he treated me, I would be fired, no question. I'll never return to the North Brunswick store, there are plenty of other places who handle Amazon (in this instance) returns. read more

I have a mailbox with this location and I have to say they give Absolutely great customer service! Even when they're super busy they give each customer their attention. You don't feel rushed or like your inconveniencing them. I've never liked UPS Stores in the past because the workers or franchise owners were always unfriendly. This one is by far the best! read more
