I just want to say that I have been a customer with the Shrewsbury UPS Store for many years and rent 2 PO Boxes as well as return packages quite often. There are 3 employees that do an amazing job...Emily, EJ and Dominick. They go above and beyond to be helpful, polite, friendly and respectful! EJ is always so sweet and greets everyone that walks into the Store with a big hello, how can I help you and have a great day when you leave. Emily is a sweetheart and has such a calm personality and has great customer service skills, a true leader. Dominick has such a nice easygoing personality and is extremely helpful, they all work really well together and keep the store running smooth, they are a great Team!! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Condescending, arrogant, charged to put 2 pieces of tape on my box and then 3.00 to print the label. They insisted a few pieces wouldn't hold box and wanted to charge me 10.00 a roll. I told them I'd be leaving a review. The black guy behind counter muttered something to me, the Hindu men were rude. Not Only is this location a joke the employees that work there are liars and frauds, on numerous occasions, they would have me scan in my own package at the kiosk and then because I didn't want to have it done that way and wanted it done on the scale upfront if I'd say something they would get all pissed off cause they are too lazy to scan them themselves, I later found out 2 of my packages weight and size where changed and re scanned in this store after I left, I reported fraud with UPS and they are aware of the situation, everyone at the hub knows what a joke this store is and knows what kind of stuff goes on over there, I am also a part time ups employee so I have heard some other inside information about this UPS store, I'd avoid at all cost. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Do NOT use this location unless you're desperate. Went there to get fingerprinted. The clerks (2) left me to the side while they takes care of other customers dropping off their packages despite The fact that I was there before everyone of them. Only when they cleared the entire line while the line keeps growing and I had to complain did they helped me. I am 9 months pregnant. I loaded four XXL boxes into the UPS store in Shrewsbury Nj by myself (he refused to help me as he was the only employee at the time) and Joe stagnoli threw my packages out of the store claiming for he was sick and was taking himself to the hospital. The packages were already inside the store the least he could have done was leave them there and then close the store and go if he thought his health was really in danger. It didn't require any work on his part. Rather he threw all my packages outside of the storefront and locked the door and left. I was left alone to load these huge packages back into my car 9 months pregnant. I am absolutely LIVID that thus employee behaved this way and caused me and my baby to be in danger. The clerk in this store yelled at me because my mask was below my nose. I proceeded to tell him I have a medical condition to which he replied don't we all. He threatened to call the cops on me. No one knows what another person is going through. To be publicly shamed by the employee is unacceptable. I returned 7 packages to Amazon (Amazon dictated that I use a UPS store drop off) on 12/28 and not one of them made it back to Amazon correctly. I have had to contact Amazon and produce my documentation on the return for ever one of the returns. Very frustrating. When I called them they informed me they sent them back with different labels so no correlation to my tracking number and they couldn't assist they had too many returns. read more

I work the overnight shift so I waited for 1:22 outside for this store to open. I was putting my mask on as I was walking in the door and the clerk instantly started chastising me for not already having it on. I asked him if there was someone to help me mail a package and he ask me if I was a senior citizen because only senior citizens are allowed in stores the first hour after opening. (Must be ups policy because I was in Shoprite next door 20 minutes after they opened). All I wanted to do was mail my package. It was labeled and sealed. The store was empty no senior citizens in sight but Rubin continued with his power trip and refused me service. He was rude and condescending and would rather have no business being petty than accommodate the only customer in the store. Never again ups. read more

Tried to send a package out that needed to be shipped within a few business days. The clerk was very nasty said it was senior hour but no one else was in the store. So should I go get my senior father to come all the way to the store just to mail a package? I needed to do this as I had to go to work and then to a funeral that's out of state. There is a woman, Marissa? Clarissa? Both times I have been there in the last two weeks she was as slow as could be. Today she was the only one there, with a line of 5-6 customers waiting. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone shipping a fragile item. My mother recently used them to ship a framed painting and the packing was sloppy, the glass was unprotected and the box was not marked "fragile." Needless to say the painting arrived badly damaged, the frame was cracked in half and hopefully the original painting was not damaged due to this shoddy, careless packaging. read more

Just brought some framed art to be mailed to the real real that needed to be wrapped. I have done this multiple times at this ups store where they wraps it and bill it to real real. I I had account information and everything for them to bill. The guy helping me was rude, dismissive and snappy at me. I brought the information and art to the ups store in red bank and they knew exactly what I was taking about. I will never go to the Shrewsbury store again. read more

I wish I could give them negative stars. WORST shipping experience I have EVER had. I do not ship often, but when I do, I typically go with ups or fed ex. The service representative was discourteous, withheld critical information in the Pre shipping process, and ultimately left me with a BROKEN unit UPS DAMAGED with a denied insurance claim I PAID FOR!! By far the most aggravating experiences I have had in years and I do not wish this on ANYONE. BUYER BEWARE this is a franchise store that is NOT directly UPS so insurance, customer service, etc all lead you back to the same franchise that handled your package. read more

I would give negative stars if possible. We called to let the store know that we were coming to drop off a package (fully boxed, pre-paid label) and would be there in 10 minutes. We were abruptly told he is closing the door promptly at 4pm. We arrived at 3:59pm and the door was locked. The employee was sitting there, and refused to let us drop the package off. I also had a bad experience & I never complain about a business. The gentleman who "helped" me saw all of the items I needed to ship & when I asked a few questions his answers were very snarky. I asked if re-packing my large boxes would make it cheaper. "Doesn't matter, it's gonna cost a lot" was his response. I had a backpack to send & I offered to buy a box & pack it myself & he said "you'll have to pack it outside on the sidewalk. I can't see you pack it wrong in the building ". Whatever that meant. I had golf clubs & a pair of skis. He told me the golf clubs would cost about $150 & when I asked about the skis he replied " go buy a new pair, it'll cost $500, I have to build a box just for them". Really ??? I don't think so!! I shipped the 3 heavy boxes & took my golf clubs & skis to another trusted ( non UPS) facility & shipped both ( all was going to FL) for $75. That's my last time there-I will ship from somewhere else next time. Minus the sarcasm ! read more
