I love this UPS location. I live nearby and have to mail numerous state documents. The store is clean, the staff are friendly, and whenever there is a line, I find it moves at a pretty good pace. This convenient plaza also includes a Publix. But I find the best part of coming here are the people that help me with my shipments. They are courteous and professional and I've never had or seen an issue in the 6 months that I've been coming here. They have supplies available for purchase and offer a number of other services. I have always had good experiences at this UPS. I had papers shredded, mailed boxes to my daughter while she was away at school and returned items. They always helpful with a smile. The plaza is pretty busy because of the little Publix. The service at this store absolutely SUPERB! I'm so lucky I live close by. The staff is always polite, helpful and professional. The manager, Sanjay (probably incorrect spelling) has gone over and above several times to be helpful printing, copying and shipping things for me. This place sucks. Staff doesn't care at all - the person helping us seemed deeply annoyed that we were taking up her time. I know working at a UPS Store probably isn't an amazing thrill ride but if you can't have a baseline level of professional service then corporate should fire everyone in here and replace them with staff who can actually do the job. Worst UPS store in the area. I had to return an Amazon package, they failed to give me a receipt and then got mad at me when I asked for one saying they already closed out of the program. I had 4 documents of around 150 pages total I asked to be printed on both sides. They printed it 1 page only and I told them this was incorrect and not what I asked for. They then proceeded to re-print all of the document the correct way I asked, but they printed it one huge stack. They would not give me a staple, paper clip, or even separate the documents. Thank god I will never have to return to this Location. The staff could not be ruder. read more

I came in to ship a 6-lb box to Queens, NY, on a Thursday. UPS seemed too high because of the Saturday delivery, so I said I would leave to mail it by USPS. The man told me they could mail it for me and quoted a price of $33 for 3-day delivery, but warned it may not arrive until the following Tuesday (4 days, not counting Sunday). That sounded high, but I was in a desperate place and couldn't remember the rates I'd looked up earlier on USPS.gov, so I went ahead and paid. Upon arriving to my next appt, I looked up rates on my phone and realized he charged me more than double what USPS charges for a 3-day delivery ($14.95), so in essence I got screwed into paying an $18 up-charge for USPS ground delivery. STEER CLEAR UNLESS YOU TOO WANT TO GET SCREWED! read more

The guy who owns and/or runs this place, Vic, is incredibly rude to his customers. Myself, friends, and family members have gone in multiple times for a variety of services and usually leave agitated. He has zero respect for his clients and clearly needs a refresher course on customer service. Do yourself a favor and drive to the UPS Store in Lake Mary. The company should seriously invest in educating the store level representatives on delivering the BASIC customer service. The rep at the Sanford, Florida 32771 location almost lost our package with our passports. The phone at the store is NEVER answered. We had to drive 30 mins from work to go see a rep there who was closing the store 6:00 pm when the closing time on the website is 6:30 pm. Do NOT go to this location. I sent my husband to go send a small package for me and this location happened to be near his work. I've shipped things many times at UPS and never in my life have been told that anything with fabric has to be shipped in a box. The owner then proceeded to box up the item without even telling him how much the box costs or how much it would cost to ship it. AFTERWARDS he then told my husband that to ship this small diaper cover in a BOX it would cost almost 15 dollars for 2 week ground shipping plus 2 dollars for the box. We didn't ship it of course because that's insane. You can get priority shipping at USPS for 5 bucks and I'd have room to spare. My husband just wanted to know the price and the owner quickly boxed up the item and then told my husband he had to now pay for the box. What?!? This guy is CLEARLY unethical on many levels and I feel bad my husband got taken advantage of by this guy. By the reviews, it seems this is a common trend with the owner and I hope this place gets shut down soon. read more
