I normally don't write reviews, but my experience at this UPS location on Saturday, September 27, 2025, around 2:22 p.m.was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I stopped in to drop off an Amazon return with my shipping label, just a few minutes before closing. I completely understand employees want to leave on time, but the associate working that afternoon, Sarah, made it very clear she was annoyed that I came in close to closing. Rather than offering basic assistance, she was rude and refused to take my package, claiming it did not have the "original shipping label." I politely explained that I never include my personal information on boxes and that I've shipped through UPS for over 10 yearswithout ever being told that was a problem. Sarah continued to argue and said she could get in trouble or "lose their Amazon contract" if she accepted the return, which made no sense and felt more like an excuse not to help a customer. After working an 8-hour shift myself and stopping in only to drop off a simple return, I found her attitude unnecessarily dismissive and unhelpful. I asked for the corporate contact information, and she told me the location was privately owned, which I later confirmed. I took the manager's card and called back on Monday to speak with someone about the issue. I eventually reached Sam, the assistant store manager, who was very polite and apologetic. She said she would speak with Sarah and notify the center manager, Kimberly Schrupp, about the situation. However, I waited several days and never received a follow-up call from Kimberly, which I find very disappointing and unprofessional. This entire experience reflects poorly on this location's management and customer service. As a loyal UPS customer for over a decade, I expect better professionalism, courtesy, and accountability. I'm also concerned that elderly customers or those unfamiliar with the process might be treated the same way or taken advantage of in similar situations. The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - Prattville, Alabama

We were in Prattville on Saturday and stopped by to drop a few things off. We didn't realize they closed at 230 until one of the employees locked the door looking directly at us. Now I understand when it's time to go employees are ready. That's no problem. The issue is how rude the encounter was. If they would have opened the door and said hey sorry we are closed for today, no problem I get it, but to run to the door and lock it when you see us standing there is beyond rude. read more

If you could give negative reviews to a business, I would here. I very rarely leave bad reviews. I try to believe people are doing the best they can. Not at this UPS Store, they are not. I ship thousands of packages a year and travel frequently, always using UPS Stores. I have had 5 interactions with this store and specifically with Kimberly, "the manager"....every single one has been a masterclass in how to lose a customer, and just downright meanness. It starts with Kimberly and she has infected the entire staff and tainted the whole customer experience with that caustic attitude. They do not have an attitude of helpfulness, they just want to sell you 17 dollar cardboard boxes and gouge 5 dollars a page to print a pdf. Most UPS Stores are great. This one is not. They go out of their way to be spiteful and mean. And its a pattern, not an isolated incident. Ive tried to give them second chances...but they are too far gone. They need to find new careers writing parking tickets, towing cars, and milking senior citizens for their retirement. Its that bad guys. Drive however far you have to...just dont give them your money. Dont encourage the rudeness, lack of compassion and tact. Go somewhere else. read more

Tried to mail a single T-Shirt back to Quiksilver with a prepaid UPS shipping lable printed on my computer, and the store clerk wouldn't give me a UPS plastic envelope to use. Only would allow me to purchace one of the stores plain bubble wrap envelopes at an additional cost. I left and went up the street to Office Depot which has the same UPS shipping capabilities, better location hours and a helpful attitude. Love Office Depot and have been back several times.
