Smiling does not equate to being helpful. I always have an issue with Chris and prepaid labels when I go to this location. I went into to store to return old company technology. I had a pre paid label, and was told that it included packing boxing and shipping. Chris wouldn't even scan the label to check. He kept checking the clock saying he didn't have time. Who cares if it leaves today but he can scan it to pack it later. HE WOULD NOT EVEN LOOK AT IT. NOT HELPFUL AT ALL Went to another location a bit more south. They took it, and packed it up...as the label showed everything that was paid for WHEN YOU SCAN IT. read more

BEWARE dropping packages at UPS Store #1773 on Park and Preston in Plano. This UPS Store either stole or lost a pre-packaged & pre-labeled Iphone destined to be returned to an ATT service center. I have a UPS receipt for August 25 showing drop off confirmation and tracking. However, from there the UPS store did not enter the packaged phone into the UPS shipping system and it was stolen or lost at store level. The UPS store at Park & Preston has refused to take accountability or take any action. UPS corporate states that the shipper (ATT, in this case) has to file a claim - but I cannot. ATT states they will not file a claim because the shipping label (and packaged phone) was never entered into the UPS system. Therefore, the customer (me), is forced to pay for the cost of the phone. But this is a store level issue and should be resolved at store level. Interestingly, during this drop off there were 2 other packages that were also shipped on the same receipt. Those 2 packages were entered into the UPS shipping system and made it to their destination. The pre-packaged Iphone (clearly labeled to be returned to an ATT service center) was stolen or lost at store level. Report has been filed with Plano Police Department. I have asked the UPS for reimbursement ($150), but they have refused to take accountability or take any action. BEWARE dropping packages at UPS Store on Park and Preston in Plano. read more

I received eight packages over three weeks from this UPS location in Plano. I was so impressed with how everything was packed and shipped, I had to inquire who was responsible because it was put together with such care. The packer's name was Ashley and all of my shipments arrived without a single issue!!! I was expecting many historical artifacts and fragile items that no doubt would have been at risk or destroyed by any other shipping service. Simply, an incredible job by Ashley at this location. This location was right on the way of where we were going to be based upon timing we decided to do an Amazon return here. It's usually so easy. Due to the major construction happening here, they definitely need some better temporary signage! If someone happens to park in a way to obstruct the view of the sign on the fence, you're left wondering where the heck they are located. After a quick phone call from the parking lot, all was well. When Joe and Michelle owned this location, it was 5 stars, they have sold and this location has gone "corporate", and I must now rate them at 3 stars. They have the shortest hours of any UPS store in the Plano area that I am aware of. The hours here on yelp are incorrect. Currently, they close at 6 PM Monday through Friday. 4 PM on Saturdays, and they are closed on Sundays. My main problem is the reduced hours. It seems like every time I need to go to the UPS store. It's 5 minutes after this location has closed. I'm considering changing my business to a nearby UPS store that's open longer. read more

They are still open despite the major construction going on in the plaza right now. I feel like the shipping prices are a little bit more expensive than the post office. You can purchase stamps here. I'll delete my review if they act on the fraud business that uses a box there. I gave them the number of the box, so I'll know if they did anything if I get another fraud mortgage scam letter. I even called the senders number and asked that they stop sending the letter.... we've gotten them regularly for 13 months, to no avail. the person I spoke with from the fraud company was rude. the person I spoke to from this store sounded nice enough, but we shall see if they let it persist, and see if they continue to let someone use their store for this activity. read more

My package was not tracked in anyway because had you made usps accountable for signing for packages you would've known that the package was picked up. Your ups packages are signed for. When you said that the package isn't where we put it, usps must have picked it up, this does not constitute knowing where the package is. This is extremely poor service and care. Of all the UPS Stores, this one had been the nicest and friendliest. They will tell you upfront any concerns or price issues. They will also suggest a number of other shipping methods to meet your needs. This store is owned by a couple who try to be as helpful as they can. The over-helpfulness can sometime can lead to long lines but it's a small sacrifice to pay knowing you'll get the same detailed service when it's your turn. read more

I've used UPS Stores for years no matter where I've worked and this one bailed me out when the UPS Store up the block (8240 preston rd) went belly up without notice (thanks so much for that...they were handing out trinkets on Friday and closed the doors forever on Saturday....idiots). Michelle and Joe are great folks. I completely appreciate Michelle's straightforward manner and matter of fact answers. She's great. Joe is also personable and in a pinch he makes things happen. I get upwards of a dozen or more boxes each week and ship between 18 to 30 a year. I always get a phone call when packages arrive and always get a smile and a chat if there's time. What most folks don't understand is this is a mom and pop operation, not a UPS owned store. UPS licenses it's name and does pickup and delivery here. With that said, if you have a UPS issue, you call 1-800-SHIPUPS and don't ha-rang Joe and Michelle. They can do as much as you and I can on the internet, so if they offer, realize it's no benefit to them, it's them doing a favor for you. I was treated with great patience at the plano location but what I am more upset about is that I sent a care package to my daughter, she wanted it sent to a local ups location near her so no one would steal the box. We have used this location (only this location) for over 10 years. We have a business size box as well as we do all our personal shipping here. Joe and Michele have owned this location for over 20+ years back in the (mailbox ect. days). You will not find more knowledgeable helpful service anywhere else. We get in about 40 packages a month at our business box and always get a call letting us know not only something came in but also who it is from or too. They are awesome! For my personal use I ship out about 5-10 packages a week. They will always tell me what the best method is to ship and what they would do or how they would package it. I trust them and always take their advice! Michele is a cut to the chase kind of person and that is exactly why we love her! She knows more about shipping and packing then most have forgotten. She is not going to steer you wrong. Joe is very friendly and remembers faces and names when you come in and normally knows exactly who you are shipping too. This couple has loyal customers that will drive past other shipping places to go to them because they trust them. This is a family owned business it is NOT UPS. People do not understand. UPS store # 1773 at 1900 PRESTON RD, STE 267 Plano Tx is a ripoff. This guy charges much more than other UPS stores for mailbox rentals and tries to get you coming and going. Even if you just want a POBox to register a business and probably won't get much mail, he forces you into the much more expensive "Business Box" even though he has much less expensive "personal boxes" available. Obviously he doesn't remember when he was trying to cut costs when he started his small business. read more
