Three boxes of large equipment we sent from this store were damaged. Bryan Moore the Owner, has indicated he filed claims which did not appear on their system (lied?). I was able to get Customer Service to file the claims but now he is not returning calls and UPS does not let their customers get status updates on claims even though they paid for the insurance. DO NOT use them!!!! Another review states that he kept a claim payment which is illegal (corporate issues checks to the franchisee rather than the person that paid for the insurance). A pattern of fraud is something which the District Attorney for the county will not tolerate. read more

I regret I can't leave zero stars for this business. The staff is incredibly rude and woefully inept. I have been charged for things by Amazon that they have "misplaced" so be diligent in hanging on to your receipt and make sure it is correct before you leave. Female working on 04/21/23 insisted I repack an item that Amazon said they would repack and scan the Return code. I had to get it in an envelope and wait in line while she retaped boxes leaving only one employee to tend to customers. When it was finally my turn, the male working, who was also rude, told me packing the item was unnecessary. I wish there was a different option other than this horrid store. read more

Horrendous customer service, at best. Brian at The UPS store in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.  I had a package that I shipped from the Oak Ridge UPS store arrive broken (shattered glass) at its destination. A claim was submitted. I contacted UPS (800) and was notified that the money for the claim had been sent to the UPS store in Oak Ridge and they should have contacted me.  I contacted the Oak Ridge store on July 31, 2020. Brian, who identified himself as the manager, said he would look into it and call me back within the hour.  He never called.  I called back again on August 1st and spoke to Brian who informed me that the money was being sent by UPS in a check form but hadn't got to him yet and he didn't know if maybe it was lost... that as soon as it came in he would distribute the funds to me.  Since that time Brian has never called me back and has actively dodged my calls and refused to call me back.  I called on August 7th left a message.  I called on August 14th left a message.  Called on August 20th left a message.  Went by in August 21st, was told he wasn't there, left a message.  Went by on August 24th, was told he wasn't there, left another message.  Called on August 25th, to no answer.  According to UPS corporate this claim was settled exactly 6 weeks ago. read more

I used this business a year ago for shipping books, pottery, and other collectibles. One box was damaged which contained a piece of pottery valued at$85. Claim was accepted but never honored. Store manager Brian indicated a check was mailed, but I have never received and he has neglected to follow up after numerous unreturned calls and emails. A year later the claim remains unresolved, and I'm out $85 and a sentimental artisan piece. I had spent about $300 on this shipment and $500 prior to that from the Oak Ridge UPS. We went to the Oak Ridge UPS Store to have some family heirlooms shipped. Paid for a custom pack-job as most everything was breakable or not replaceable, these items has been in the family for many years. Many of the items were glass and silver. I was assured by the woman behind the counter that everything would be wrapped with care. And i insured the boxes with UPS. After they arrived a few items were damaged. A large glass salad bowl, a cut glass vase and several Sterling silver trays were dented. The Oak Ridge UPS store did not wrap the silver in bubble wrap. They chose to only wrap the glass. As a result, it dented the silver and cracked a few glass items. After filing a complaint I was told that my claim was not valid. Mainly because I had thrown away the boxes. After paying over $300 for shipping and a "custom pack job" plus insuring the boxes for $1600.00. I expected better customer service, I suppose that is what I get for expecting. Two lessons learned here. One, if you are in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and need something shipped, go someplace else. If they are the only "game" in town, try Knoxville. And second, always keep your boxes. read more

Great place! I always dreaded going to our local USP office. They don't even want to lend you a pair of scissors and the line is horrendous. Once I discovered the UPS about a year and a half ago I never go anywhere else. The first time I walked in with package the employee walked up and to them out of my arms and very quickly and proficiently had my items on the way. Many services, copiers, fax, computer. The UPS store in Oak Ridge went above and beyond to help our family prepare for my mother's funeral service and reception. Sam had a great suggestion that we print photos on card stock to use on presentation boards. The printed photos looked terrific on our display board and were a great way to show my mom throughout the years! I showed Sam a sample of something I saw online and the UPS store folks created a customized design and printed cards so that funeral attendees could write a memory of my mother. The cards had my mother's name, favorite flower and favorite butterfly printed on them - in color! The UPS store folks were wonderful resources in helping us create a wonderful and memorable celebration of my mother's life. read more

I've worked with Jessica, Bryan, and Amanda, and they always take extra steps to make sure I'm satisfied with the order. I've also used them for larger jobs, such as creating ~5' banners, which turned out great. Bryan even made a special trip to the store to buy us the hardware we needed for setting up the banner on our lawn. read more

Two years ago I sent a package that was lost and never located. Lost about $100 dollars worth of supplies. Never located. Did not seem interested in solving the problem. Tried to avoid the store. My work force me there this week April 2018. Gave them a package to mail to another location and the package got mailed back to me. I gave the package to the owner of the store. I know he is the owner because I talked to him about my previous issue above. Not sure I have enough experience with the store to give it one star, but my experiences have been one star experiences. read more
