I came here in the middle of the day to drop something off to ship. I used the workstation to login and print my label because I had no printer at home. There are 2 workstations. I've never experienced such terrible customer service! The female cashier insisted I find my own box, even after I explained I was from out-of-state (NJ). When she finally did give me a box, it was much cheaper than she said it would be. Seems more like she didn't want to be bothered, since she was extremely rude the whole time. She also was arguing over her AirPods the entire time with her friend who was bringing her "ice cream from the Bronx", because she didn't want it to melt before it arrived. Seriously? read more

First, they deliver my urgently needed medication to the wrong location. Then, when I called they told me they would send somebody to handle it tomorrow. They not only messed up but they couldn't bother to fix it today? I have not received any communication documenting the fact that they delivered to the wrong place and are planning on fixing it. I called to ask if a service was available and was told yes but only until 330. I went right away and when I arrived was told no that's not the case and that I had to leave and come back later within a very specific window. When I tried to clarify since this was contradictory information, the woman bit my head off and then yelled at me when I tried to speak again. I don't care what kind of day you're having, you don't speak to someone like that. I have never been spoken to with that kind of attitude at a store ever. I should have spoken up or spoken back but decided to leave and go somewhere else. Do yourself a favor and walk the few extra blocks to the other UPS store. read more

Pros: No wait Cons: Unhelpful. I live locally and brought in some personal shredding. I intended to use a coupon but was told the one I had for 15% off only good online. I felt I was an inconvenience to the staff member and felt embarrassed. As a senior citizen I could have used a break off the $10 charge. I recently went to this store to return a package. First, the employee DID NOT HAVE A MASK ON NOR GLOVES. I kept my distance, but was still a bit concerned. EVERYONE MUST WEAR A MASK! Anyhow, I dont have access to a printer at home since I usually do all my printing at the office and was told it will be taken care of at the UPS Store. Totally not the case! I was charged over $6 to print a free label and another $8 for packing tape. Are you freaking kidding me?!?! Where is the compassion during a time like this? Not only did I risk myself going into this store in the first place, but now I'm being charged for things that are usually free?! Nasty, entirely unhelpful employee attending the store on 7/26/2019 at 9.00am. Had an Amazon drop off (Amazon states drop off with or without box, bring shipping label and service is for free). Had the box and shipping label but the box was not taped close. All it needed was one strip of tape. The UPS employee wanted to charge me $4.00 for one strip of tape and he would absolutely not help. I left the store with my package. Entirely unreasonable and worst customer service I ever experienced at any UPS location. Also filed a complaint with Amazon about this particular store. read more

Store is in a convenient location near my apartment, but the middle aged lady behind the desk on Sunday's is terribly unpleasant and a pain to work with. She got pissed off when I asked her to explain how the charges worked, and wouldn't let me use their tape roll on my 2nd package, even though I just paid to ship another package through UPS. Absolutely miserable individuals that work here. I have been a few times due to the proximity to Penn Station but the staff has always been rude. They don't speak or acknowledge you. The person "assisting" me today mumbled something and then never repeated it when I said "excuse me?" Customer on line in front of me was so friendly and this worker never acknowledged him either and in fact dropped both of his packages on the floor. I understand they may not be paid top dollar, but do yourselves a favor and hire individuals that can work with the public. read more

Then, to make matters worse, when I complained this is a service business, a man behind her (named Bill) chimed in adding fuel to the fire. Too much competition - USPS is right around the corner. Very convenient location behind one Penn plaza, very close to penn station- they have a notary guy, very helpful. Scanning documents might be expensive, so you can use this for shipping only. They are open on majority of the days ( specially when others are closed). read more

More importantly, without any of the you-did-it-wrong attitude I so frequently get at US Postal Services locations. Caveat is that staff can change which means that the service can change as well. Horrible customer service. Unlike other UPS Stores I was asked to buy a roll of tape to seal a package, even though the seller of the item I was returning indicated in their instructions that UPS would take care of it. Then they decided the box I brought wasn't necessary and refused to recycle it even though they had a huge pile of recycling. UPS should remove their brand from this store. There's one a few blocks north that provides these basic services for free and with much more attentive, friendlier staff. read more

I had to get some documents notarized and since I had to pick up train tickets at PissStench Station this was quite convenient. Notary services are available at convenient times and the service was friendly and helpful. An added bonus was walking through the throng of highly entertaining doobage smoking, alcohol imbibing, deoderant adverse crackheads who mill about in the park area in the plaza. Worst delivery people ever, especially in midtown area! Who ever is responsible for delivering packages to 10018 is shit at it. Twice now I have taken a day off work because the package I was expecting needs to be refrigerated immediately. First day the driver decides to not show up and deliver the next day when I am out of town and today it is 7.30pm and still no sign of a package. Keep calling ups and they keep telling me wait an extra 20 min! Extremely unacceptable and they fucking owe me $350 if the stuff is ruined now (which will be the second time) because they wait till the end of the day (past their time) to deliver it - if I even get it today! This is the worst UPS store I have visited. They rejected a return to Amazon three times and each time I was contacting Amazon I was told They were mistaken. The last time they wanted to force me to buy a box from them. They are also tremendously insulting every time especially since I have an accent. Ultimately I went to another store that had no problem to receive my package. The employees are awful people, lazy and insulting. I know this is con inner being just out of Penn Station.
