The staff is unfriendly, rude, and really don't seem to care about their job. Worse, they are not knowledgeable in regard to shipping and packaging. The store is also a ripoff. I brought a pre-packed box to ship. I told them I wanted USPS and they charged me for and shipped it UPS. The last 2 years have been a downhill slide. i closed my box and she held my mail for 5 months. Even though I gave her my cc # and address to ship my mail while out of town for the Summer ! . Her mail box is full most days. They don't return email. The store has gone downhill. I had to beg to have my mail forwarded and get ups corp involved. I just rushed over to the store before it closed at 6pm. There was a poorly handwritten note on the door saying "closed early due to malfunctioning computer systems." I'd never go to this UPS Store on Radio Rd/Santa Barbara again! They are 42 percent more expensive than all other UPS Stores. Prices set by Lorraine, the owner. In-store gal with long hair not friendly or courteous. I have regularly done business with four different UPS Stores over the last 20 years. I've always found them friendly and reasonably priced -not this location! Price gauging at 42 percent higher for most services, they even CHARGE $2 for a small piece of tape, and don't have a single paper clip on the counter tops. I've had my UPS and downs and this is one of the UPS. I try not to use these places cuz I think they're a little bit expensive but when I needed one in Naples it was here, available, and everything works fine even though it's a little pricey - much like FedEx stores are. read more

I have never been spoken down to nor so disrespectfully than by this young man at 8 am today. When asked for help sending a package to Amazon I was told I had to go to Kohl's or get charged. I explained I just need led to change the return location to UPS and stepped aside to do so. He proceeded to loudly proclaim I don't know what I am doing and go to Kohl's. When I asked for the supervisor's name, as this is a huge training opportunity as yes you can send things from UPS to Amazon - (I just needed to show him I changed the return location) he yelled at me very aggressively "what are you going to do tell on me"? I wrote down the name he gave me as he proceeded to tell me that his manager was there behind the wall listening as she was on the phone telling me she doesn't want to talk to someone like you either. I was so incredibly embarrassed and in shock that this young man was so hateful. read more

Paid for a fragile and expensive cologne to be boxed and shipped to the buyer I sold it to. They always take the packages behind the wall and don't let you see them wrap it up. After 10 years of using this store, I am not happy with the Radio Road UPS store and will never go back. I wanted to mail 2 small shopping bags of kids toys . . . one for a boy, the other for a girl. The children had recently lost their father. First the employee could not accommodate my request for 2 medium-sized boxes (so I agreed to have them put into one box), then he was either too lazy or too ignorant to look up the zip code even though I gave him the street address, the town, and the state. He claimed they could not look up zip codes despite my having received this minor service there before. I said, "Never mind, I'll go somewhere else." He said, "Good." The Rattlesnake Hammock UPS Store employee graciously looked up the zip code without flinching. They will get my business now. read more

Extremely bad!!!! I needed 4 very important documents faxed with all 4 corners showing. I explained this to the owner/ manager of the store, Was charged $9.65. When I got home, I received notice that 3 of the pages were unacceptable (no corners showing) When I called the store, I was told in a snippy, rude way by the owner that it had to be the receiving fax machine's fault since UPS fax machines costs thousands of Dollars! Their signage says they close at 6, but they close much earlier. They locked up the store at 5:40pm, and despite the employees seeing me knock on the door, they refused to acknowledge and help me. The internet and their store sign both say they close at 6 (earlier than most of the other stores) however they actually close BEFORE 6. So you drive there at 5:50 and they have already closed the doors on you. Have had other people people pulling up with me the 2 times I went. This is by far the worst UPS Store I have been to. Collier County has a mask requirement due to the Covid 19 virus. Every time I go to this store there are multiple people with no masks on. The store has no signs on the front door or windows stating masks should be worn nor do any of the employees try to tell customers without masks that there is a mask requirement in their store. This store is the WORST! Do not trust them to send anything! My husband and I went on vacation and my husband forgot his medication. We asked my son to go to the UPS store and send it in the fastest way possible. While there, my son called and said we could have it by Tuesday for the outrageous price of $74.00 or Wednesday for $12.00. Unfortunately, my husband needed the medication as quickly as possible, so we paid the $74.00. On Tuesday the package had not arrived so we tracked it and it wasn't going to be delivered until FRIDAY! Regular mail would have been quicker......... After spending an entire day trying to fix this issue we finally ended up going to the ER to get the medication for my husband. When we returned to our home I went into the store to request a refund and was told no one could help me but the owner. I asked the clerk to have the owner call me because they couldn't tell me when she would be in. After not hearing from her I began calling every couple of hours. This is day 3 of continuing to call and she has yet to speak with me. So sad that the owner of this establishment, Lorraine Woodhouse, obviously does not concern herself with her customers. read more

The line was too the door. One person working the desk. After about 5 mins of waiting the "owner/manager" meandered out and asked for next in line which was me. Unbelievable I was in the ups store on 03/05/2019 to ship a package around 4:10 the representative helping the line of customer was moving fast and efficiently but the store was busy and needed more associates to help with the busy line. THEN I SEE A BLOND HAIRED WOMEN PEAK INTO THE FRONT FROM THE BACK. I'm thinking she is going to help the excellent associate who has been helping us. BUT NO SHE JUST PEAKS IN THE FRONT AND TURNS HER HEAD AND LEAVES OUT THE BACK WITH A LINE OF US CUSTOMERS LEFT TO WAIT! Worst store ever!!!! Owner is never available and the staff is woohoo rude. They charge you $1 for additional tape to a box you already have tape. The staff would rather stock shelves than help you. I had customers help me, while staff literally did nothing but stock shelf with tape and run next door for food. Patrick was the last staff member that actually had a smile and was friendly. They quoted me $68 for a box that was 12 x 15...overmeasured. They convinced me to buy box, which was larger 18x18 @ $8, plus $6 roll of tape...same contents and box was then $40 to ship. This store had turned around but the new (now old manager) is no longer there and the new (new) manager is rude which he obviously gets from the extremely rude British owner (a female). I used to use this store on a regular basis, but I went in to follow up on a packing job they did for a figurine I'd sold on eBay, she was initially helpful. when she had reviewed the tape of the packing (as my item arrive damaged) she called me and screamed her head off at me (I said nothing because I could not get a word in edgewise) and then slammed the phone in my ear! Very poor service and extremely rude staff. My shipment was to be sent up north, but was returned to me the next day. When I took the shipment back to this UPS store, they would not re-send it to the proper address. Instead, they told me to contact the Naples area UPS center for assistance.
