I was in this business recently to fax some very important documents ... Tara an associate / Notary assisted me... I had a lot of items .. Some were very old and frail .. The woman there of I believe haitian or island descent needs some training in customer relations. It doesn't cost anything to be friendly or smile every once and awhile to your customers. I have been in there numerous times and hope when it's my turn i don't get her. If she is unhappy with her job I am sure there are others who would love to have it . Guess I'll use FedEx next time and when eveyone else does she will be out of job! read more

Do not use this store. They lost a very expensive package I shipped and have taken no ownership of the situation. They claim they only pack and ship so once your packages leave their store they have no responsibility. They went as far as to tell me I should have planned ahead and bought their insurance as "packages get lost all the time that is the world we live in". Their insurance is a scam and they know it. The insurance is cost is prohibitive and usually as much as the value of your package. Nice words from a shipping company. Try the USPS next time. read more

I needed to use my own paper to print a few documents. None of the libraries in the area would let me do this. I called The UPS store and they said I could print there. My issue is the $3 charge to use their computers to print. And it's not actual computer use by the customer....you have to send the documents to their email address and they pull it up and print. They also charge 15 cents per page to print. To me, that seems a little high. I think I'll just stick to the libraries in Charleston--I've never had an issue there. read more

Beware when using this location! I sent an overnight package that UPS failed to deliver because of an airplane issue, ended up getting trucked to Columbia then ultimately delivered 2 days late. (Large real estate transaction, thank you very much). This location is a "franchise" location which means they can't track nor provide any information... "just call the 800 number". I guess they are ok when all goes well but don't expect any information, any support ... but you can expect a condescending manager. read more

Justin is fast, efficient, cost-conscious, professional and kind. He knows my name and remembers how to access my business recipients in his database sparing me time-consuming scavenger hunts for addresses, emails and phone numbers on my cell. I brought in 6 huge laundry baskets filled with teen-aged clothes and a skateboard and was on my way in less than ten minutes. Great cards at this location, too. I stock up on greeting cards while things are packaged. Great people and business. read more

Three weary travellers arrived here, looking for a place to print boarding passes for our flight home (and to avoid the $15 charge for printing passes from Allegiant Airline). The young man running the store treated us with kindness, and we had the opportunity to see him do the same with other customers who came in while we were downloading the passes from he Internet. read more

I go to this store often and it really is the best. The manager is Betsy and this woman is just fantastic. She always goes beyond what she needs to do to help me, and for some reason I always seem to either misplace a return receipt, or the item to go back itself. She never gets ruffled and always has something nice to say.....such a pleasure. And her protege is named Dylan, and what a sweet young man. One day recently when I was there, he helped every person coming in by taking their items to be shipped and carrying them in for the customer. I was very impressed with his efforts to make these transactions as easy as he could. It's nice to see young kids being so respectful......I'd never go anywhere else.... so thank you Betsy and Dylan for making these errands such a pleasure to do.... read more

Don't try to simply make a copy from a hard drive. I've been in there several times just to get two or three copies made that I stored on My thumb drive. They sometimes just charge Me the 30 or 40 cents for the three or four sheets of paper but sometimes charged Me 1 dollar for using the computer to just make the copies. The last time I went I made three copies which cost Me $1.90 just for three sheets of paper and employee told another to get off of the internet so that I could make My copies. After being charged $1.90 for just three copies I asked if they had a standard rule for copies, especially for just taking from the hard drive. The idiot behind the counter said that he had only charged Me for half the time on the internet for the copies which made no sense. I asked who the manager was and the kid said who My boss? I said yes. He then said that the bosses name was mike and gave me the store number. I called Mike a few times over the week but he was never there. I sent Mike two emails and never got a reply so I contacted corporate and put the murrells inlet store as cc. Finally out of the blue was someone in an email reply saying there sorry if i wasnt told about the policy and it's now on a note in the store. On that email there was no name so I have no idea who sent it lol. That still didn't answer why I was charged $.40,$1.40, and $1.90 at different times for 3 or 4 copies at the store. Mikes professiolism and customer service definately shows here. So was it a misunderstanding or was Mikes employees stealing from Me? I finally got a hold of the UPS Store corporate office and I was told that there was nothing that they could do because each store makes it's own policy on copies. So of course I'm not going to file a civil suit for them stealing a few dollars from Me, but I will spread the word and never go there again. Hey if anyone can confirm that there truely is a Mike who manages there, I'd love to know. read more

I mean I am not sure how you rate a UPS store except on the service and the lady at the counter was great! She was personable, threw a few jokes out at myself and other customers and was knowledgeable in what she did as well as quick.
