Because there are other competitor companies, known as usps and ups and I get treated with kindness there just for an explanation as to why does this cost so much. It's just a question. I always have Natasha and there is another nice young man there as well I can't remember his name. I know what I'm used to and the kind of service I'm used to also. The end. She was so patient and warm about it, you could tell she truly cares about her job and how people are treated. Zero apathy or impatience or judgment - simply kind and immediately helpful. I told her how I had first gone to Staples, where 2 of the 3 printers weren't working and the last was being used, so I came over to FedEx. She was happy to hear I had and I could tell she was truly invested in FedEx doing good, repeat business. Totally going to FedEx for all printing and shipping because of this experience. It is important to note that national level moving companies will subcontract with smaller local companies to pick up your goods. I was cheated on space by the local company, "A.E.Movers" to the tune of about 225sq/ft or about $1,500. At first, I did receive difficulty with customer service but in retrospect, this is partially my fault. The best advice I can give anyone working with a moving company is "IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH ANY PHASE OF THE MOVE, STOP AND CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT ASSUME YOU CAN FOLLOW UP AFTER THE LOCAL COMPANY HAS LEFT." That was my mistake. If I had called customer service while the local company was still on site, I could have negotiated the situation better and not fallen into the trap that the local company set. Ultimately, Always Moving not only refunded me a fair amount of the overcharge, but they also terminated their agreement with A.E.Movers ensuring that this situation will not occur with future customers. The final delivery of my good was smooth and friendly... and everything arrived in good condition. Nobody wants to deal with the headaches I had... but ultimately, the moving company did stand behind their name and treat me right.

I'd left my work laptop at the office and was about to work remotely for 5 days ... going all the way there and back (a 4+ hour round trip) was out of the question. Deondre knew the location ("we deliver there all the time") and gave me an instant quote that was very reasonable. When the driver who picked up my laptop was delayed at at appointment, Deondre picked up the ball and retrieved my laptop and brought it to me. He is personable, communicative and just a nice person. I will definitely spread the word. RELIABLE. That's the word. Thanks, D! P.S. Get payment method settled before completing the booking. We initially agreed on cash to the driver, then D later said I could Zelle. Both are fine, but I'd already trotted off to the ATM to ensure I had enough cash. No harm done, but knowing Zelle was acceptable would have saved that trip (I needed the mini-walk, anyway!).

I needed a GE profile…read moremicrowave open door opening part replaced. i called on Friday afternoon and explained what was wrong and he said he knew exactly what the issue was and would call monday morning to say what time. He called when he said he would and the tech arrives on time. He says has to order the part. 2 days later part is in, they called again to say will be here to finish the job and both times was right on time. Not all repair companies even want to repair microwaves so i have to say i had no issues with anything regarding Allmake. This wasn't a big money maker for them.

    Called them to repair our Kenmore front loading washer. Friendly guy came out and in 20 seconds…read moresaid we needed a new door gasket and they would order it. 3 weeks later he returned and installed it. It was not inexpensive. Washer still leaked and they blew off 3 appointments with us. Finally gave up and called in another service. Turns out the leak was from a small hose that came off its fitting-a 5 minute issue but I luckily spotted the fact that the gasket was put on improperly and in fact the rear retaining spring was mangled by Allmake which would have soon resulted in a flood if we had continued using the machine. Had to pay to have the job redone. Stay away from these guys. They are out to make a few quick bucks off unsuspecting consumers while they can. They are perpetuating consumer fraud.

After talking to them, I knew I wanted to go with them. Their customer service, attention to details, and organization are 5-star levels. One thing that really stood out to me was that instead of asking me how many boxes I need, they asked me to send them pics of my place and stuff, and they calculated the number of small, medium and large boxes I need. It's so easy to underestimate and get a different price at the end. Also, I know I wanted packers because its speeds up the entire process of moving and settling in. I'm so glad I did with Roadway. It usually takes me over half a week to pack and be stressed for over a week, but Diego and his 3 teammates packed up our studio in 2-3 hours. They're so professional. They moved so quickly with care and accuracy. Most importantly, all my kitchen appliances were wrapped with care and delivered and arrived to my new apartment in the same condition. It took us about 2 hrs to settle in, and they once again unpacked most of the furnitures and reassembled them, making me feel settled in and relaxed. I cannot thank their team enough. They're all so polite, friendly and efficient. Within 1 day, I already feel 95% settled in. It's the easiest, stress-free moving experience I had in a while!

Before they even arrived, I got a tracking link to follow their location just like Uber, which immediately made me feel at ease. Crisanto and his crew showed up right on time and were incredible. They worked quickly but carefully, wrapping all of my furniture and somehow managing three giant mirrors without a single issue. Not one complaint and not one moment of stress. What really stood out was how above and beyond they went. They helped me figure out which part of my couch would actually fit in my space, laid out my rugs, and organized everything so I could still move around my studio comfortably. Also shoutout to one of the crew members who was on his first day. You truly could not tell. The whole team was professional, efficient, and just genuinely great to work with. This was hands down the easiest move I've ever had. If you are debating which moving company to use, this is your sign. Go with them.
