Everyone has their own horror stories about standing in line at the local post office during the…read moreholiday season. Lines that go on forever, and are so slow that a bottle Heinz ketchup flows twice as fast. Thankfully, a friend of mine told me about this place on M-17, just west of Golfside Road. I needed to mail a package to my friend in Tokyo, so I went to the local post office on my day off, and there had to be nearly 50 people waiting in line. Then I remembered Goin' Postal was right near a specialized grocery store that I really like on M-17. So I left the line behind and drove out west of town. Was I ever lucky, I was the only person in line, and after I filled out my customs forms, purchased some stamps I was right out the door in less than 10 minutes. The staff at this place is very friendly and gave me several shipping options to choose from. I can just imagine as I drove home, most of the people in that line at the local post office were still waiting in line to be served. That said, I was amazed that my package arrived within a week. I highly recommend this place, as they are faster than the local post office, and they don't have the attitude that some of the postal workers have.

I asked if there was handicapped parking in the back to Which he said no but I still have to move my car to the handicapped spot. So this guy literally had me go take the ONLY handicapped spot when there was not a single other car in the whole parking lot just to be difficult. The building is clean, organized and it seems relatively new. There are desk top computers with printer access available for rent. There is a private parking lot in back of the building and plenty of street parking is also available. I highly recommend Post Express for your domestic and international shipping needs.

Yelling at customers to scan their own packages for Amazon returns but the machine wasn't working so it continued to print out "see agent labels" and the owner (I presume) was annoyed that the customers needed service. I told the man packing my stuff (presume it was the owner because I can't imagine an employee yelling at customers the way he did) that these items were sentimental (my grandpas's cowboy hat) and asked to have the items bubble wrapped and paid like $50 for it! When the box arrived the glass items were in bubble wrapped but not appropriately wrapped so the glass was everywhere in the box. My glass items were broken and my grandpa's hat was not wrapped at all, and neither were my ceramics! The hat was smashed by a heavy cardboard box (with a drill in it) that they had just placed on top of the hat. These people are completely incompetent and ruined all of my irreplaceable stuff. Lesson learned...good sales tactic at this location capitalizing on the upcoming USPS price hike. I didn't realize until I got home that I paid more than what the future price increase for stamps will be...for stamps I did not need. When I called, the store the manager was not understanding. She said they offer the stamps as a convenience. While I understand that, I have been to this location many times and never had this type of experience pushing stamp sales. My fault for not paying attention, however the manager response could have been more understanding or offer a solution to return them.

They are very helpful and take extra time to assist those who may not be as familiar with technology and on-line returns.
