Some of the other local(ish) UPS Stores won't accept a package that's been insured for a high-dollar-amount but this store does (I believe up to $5K - but don't quote me on that) - which has been a real help when I've been in a bind at my job. The workers can range from friendly to... not-as-friendly. Biggest gripe - there's just not enough (legal) parking in this area. You'll always have to contend with double-parked cars and cars in the yellow - with their hazards on (the 'go-to-trick' that makes them impervious to tickets, I suppose?!) My other gripe - I'm hoping to be in-and-out with my one package which means there's at least one person ahead of me with a sack as large as Santa's with well over a dozen returns (Amazon, eBay, Walmart) that are nowhere close to being ready to go... so now I'm stuck. Otherwise... it's been a solid and reliable store and all of my packages have gone out the same night to be delivered.

End of Tuesday - no call. End of Wednesday - no call. Finally, Thursday morning, I call them to ask about my guitar, and they said it was ready. If it was ready, why no call? Anyway, I go to the store to get my guitar. I see that they did not adjust the guitar like I requested. The store clerk put Mike on the phone. He tells me first that the guitar technician found that there was more work to be done, and that I should leave my guitar and that they had to ship it off to fix it and so on...So why did you tell me that the guitar was ready? Then he tried to tell me that I still had to pay for services because they did a set up and changed the strings. I told him, in other words, you did everything except what I asked you to do. He then tried to go on saying, "I'm 67 years old. I've fixed guitars for bands all over New Jersey..." And yet you couldn't (or wouldn't) fix mine. In the end, I did not pay for services that I did not receive, and I took my guitar elsewhere that fixed my guitar in one day...WITHOUT changing the strings. Once you add mileage, taxes, insurance, gas, etc etc etc you talking over $100 to drive it around the of block. Pay attention and ask questions about the contract you are signing they explained it all but most people don't listen and can pay hundreds for just holding the van a few days. But I needed to pick up a 600 LB treadmill and take it 5 miles, and I was back with the truck in less than 2 hours. I got no hassles, hidden surprise fees and was a happy camper, ah, I mean happy treadmiller.
