We are building a new combined…read morecycle plant out here and my safety committee decided they wanted to do something for Breast Cancer Month (October for those of you who live under a rock) Of course they decided this 2 weeks before the start of Oct. If you have ever worked for a large company you know it is not easy to just go an order a large amount of anything without getting 5-10 peoples approval....and so I begin the process. The materials manager was trying to call local places to see if they would work with us, most didn't call back or have a receptionist I guess who even bothered calling back. Printworx called back and spoke with our Materials manager and sent him an email almost immediately. He then fwd the email to me and we responded and worked up some pricing. She (Crysten, the owner) was great to work with, super easy and a great personality. I sent her a mock up of what we wanted and told her we were on a time crunch. She looked up multiple shirts in the hot pink color and sent me prices within a few hours. Luckily for us the shirts we wanted were on sale!! I know this all sounds simple but this was a two weeks process since the people on site (our companies and corporate) had to approve all this. Thankfully Crysten was understanding and worked with us. She got the shirts done within about 10 days. We ordered about 320, she emailed me and let me know when I could pick them up and they ended up being done earlier then expected. WHOOHOO! The shirts looked great, they were boxed and ready to go by the time I arrived, the staff loaded them into my truck and Crysten came out to meet me. She is very personable as is her staff. The guys all loved the shirts, they came out looked phenominal. I get a little nervous working with print companies for the first time, many times they can mess up the print and it can look cheap. Ours did not look cheap at all... She never charged us a screen set up fee, most likely because all the proceeds from the shirts on site were going to Breast Cancer, and it's a woman owned business so she was on board. We are looking forward to working with her a lot more in our two years here.
