I've been an Amazon Prime member for eight years. That's eight years of purchases and eight years of returns. This isn't my first rodeo. Apparently it IS the first rodeo for the employees at this UPS location. I brought in my return, my QR code, and was told I had to pay $4 to have my package taped. I'm sorry, what??? I called Amazon and asked if I missed something in my return instructions, because I wanted to make sure it wasn't an error that I made before causing a scene (always do your research, friends). It was not. Amazon said UPS wrongfully charged me and there is no situation in which I should have to pay for a return, HENCE THE QR CODE. I moved to the area three months ago. Apparently Lexington just does things different. First and last time I will use this UPS location for any service. read more

I called this store attempting to track part of a 2 item return to amazon. The owner informed me he could not look up any information because I did not pay him any money. When I told him I paid $40 for a shipping box, and couldn't he look me up by phone number or name, he said I just needed to fight with Amazon. Brought in 2 laptops to return for warranty with prepaid shipping labels, was given a packing quote of almost $50..... Is this to make up for the already paid for shipping?..... Laptops were already in the factory box with Styrofoam sleeves going express , just wanted to combine into 1 box since they were going to same location. read more

I will never go to this store again. For some reason the owner has mandated that they will not take packages with account numbers affixed. They will not take a package unless they make money from the shipping. So even though a UPS truck comes to that store every day to pick up packages, they force you to drive to West Columbia because they feel this service is a waste of their greedy time. I have mailed dozens of packages from this location. I will never go back. read more

I've been using this location to ship packages, print copies and receive mail for at least four years, mainly because there's not much else to choose from in Lexington. The customer service has always been marginal at best, but last week something happened that was completely inexcusable. I was expecting a very important check which had to deposited that day. Granted, it was a little busy but I politely asked the manager, Cheryl Jeffcoat if the mail had arrived and she said that it had but it hadn't been sorted yet. So, I took my place in line and when I got to the counter I asked the kid behind the counter to please see if he could pull my envelope out of the stack. Just as he was about to go find it, Ms. Jeffcoat intervened and said that I would have to "wait until 4pm just like everyone else." I explained that it was urgent and I would really appreciate if she could help me out. She flatly said "No", without any apology or regret and basically told me to go pound sand. After a brief verbal back and forth she said that if IF I PAID HER SHE WOULD DO IT! I reminded her that I was paying for my mailbox every month already! This all took place in front of other customers so not only was it incredibly insulting but very embarrassing, and ultimately caused me to miss a very important deposit. For something that would have taken less than a minute, she lost a longtime customer. Not a smart move. read more
