Mr Fix - iPhone & iPad Repair

TLDR - If there is an after sale issue, they're rude and they don't honor their printed warranty…read more Let me preface this with I've had most iPhones since the iPhone 4. Between myself and my family, we've probably had around 20 iPhones over the years so we're well versed in the normal wear and tear the factory iPhone can handle and we've never had any sort of cracked screen or anything that would not us to trade in for full trade-in value when upgrading. So that changed this weekend and my wife was in a car accident and in the process, her phone hit screen first on the asphalt and completely shattered. We obviously had to get it replaced so I checked around pricing and reviews. Based on everything I saw, Mr Fix was a great choice for the repair although a little pricier than the other local repair options . I went up to the kiosk on a Sunday afternoon and the technician wasn't very busy and he was courteous while helping me pick out the upgraded screen. He said he'd have it completed in about 35 to 45 minutes and I'd have it before the mall closes. Perfect! All of that happened and I paid in full he had me take a picture of the 60-day warranty for faulty or defective products. Screen was working great! Fast forward to Wednesday. My wife, as she does daily, put her phone in her purse/backpack. She got in the car and put her lil backpack(it's a mini Wolfpak if you know what that is)in the floorboard and we drove to a friends house. When we arrived, she pulled her phone out and there was a bright green line horizontally up the right side of the screen. Everything I read since I was there for the entire ride I know there was no drop or knocks, is it's likely either a loose connection or a faulty screen. This happened after the mall closed so we took it back to the kiosk the following day, four days after the install. I walked up while the same tech was finishing with a customer so I waited my turn. When i went to talk to him he immediately recognized me but when i went to show him my wife's phone, he immediately changed face. Went straight to saying we must have dropped it without even holding the phone or getting close enough to notice any damage(which there is none). There was even a brand new screen protector I put on right after the install and it is still in perfect condition as I'm trying to show him the phone. He insisted on not honoring the warranty so I had no choice but to leave. We went straight to another local business that does the same repairs and the techs there bit agreed after looking at the phone that it was a faulty screen. I'm filing a dispute with my CC company but I'd like others to know that this isn't the best option in the area. You'll overpay for the product and service and if there is any issue, you will be brushed off and not given the time of day.

Very friendly honest, always go here no problem whatsoever. Great quality service. Great warranty…read moreand climate once no problem fix it in 30 minutes but it has to be defected parts only not physical damage
