Most of the staff is nice. There was a middle aged white haired lady today who was very grouchy and obtuse. The young women and men, as well as the older white haired man, at the desk are fantastic and kind. Just watch out for the older lady. The policies must have changed for receiving packages. Now if you have a mailbox and pay your fees, you will be charged additional fees if you get more than 10 packages a month. Get an additional 10 packages per month for another $5. This was not explained well by a couple of staff. So for any online sellers who use this paid service, they will be charged for each additional package beyond 10 for just receiving packages. So now after paying for shipping and monthly fees, they charge per package after 10 packages per month. We'll ask to see the policies and if they are congruent with corporate policy. I am very dissatisfied with the service attitude of an older bald man in the store. The way he speaks is sarcastic and makes people feel very uncomfortable. A couple who came in after me also experienced his sarcastic attitude, so I am not the only one. I really want to know, is he the owner? Appreciated when I called Melissa about getting a notary after their cut off time of 4pm. Even when I came into the store she was very kind. The notary however was rude. He said "I'm not going to give you a hard time but you filled out my notary section". Bro I literally just wrote the date, state and county! Who cares? As a notary, you're NOT outriding the document. You're notarizing MY SIGNATURE! Which I didn't sign until you verified who I was. Also, your notary stamp is not allowed to have the state seal. Yall really need to know your notary business if you're going to be providing it to the public. read more

UPS delivery persons have always been friendly and deliver packages to my front door. One exception, recently one of the delivery men leaves my packages in front of the garage door or drops them over the fence onto the sidewalk. I do not appreciate this as I am expecting a package with delicate electronic equipment. If it is dropped over the fence onto the sidewalk the equipment will be damaged. This is an expensive item and needs to be delivered to my door step. I don't know this persons name however, I don't want him delivering packages to my home. All the other employees are great. P.S. As travel nurses we frequently move. The local post office in town are notorious for missing and damaged mail. This UPS store were a God send! They were always friendly, they never lost or damaged a package and after we moved, they were still failthful to contact us with any packages that arrived late. We used their mailbox service ( like a PO Box ) and the prices were very reasonable and we could access it 24/7 for boxes and mail. I highly recommend this store and strongly suggest you avoid the local Gallup post office. read more

I used this service so the regular UPS delivery, delivered to the wrong house. And neighbors bring neighbors, kept my packages. Most of my experience's with the Gallup store has been good, professional and courteous. But today was a different story, unbelievable clerk, male of course. No greeting, angry no professionalism, as an owner/manager I would not consider him for town dog catcher. The other staff are great, avoid this guy, wait for another clerk to help you, makes the business terrible for the rest. My apologies to your business, sir. Perhaps I was too harsh in my words, but I must emphasize that a good employee does not let his personal opinions or troubles affect their work attitude. As a small business owner in a small town, esp a border town with a rich and diverse culture, understanding and tolerance should be emphasized, disrespect of any sort should not be tolerated. Worst packaging/shipping experience I've ever had to deal with to be honest. It took me three days to receive my package after it arrived in Gallup, NM. I had to make 7 different phone calls in total threw out those three days to finally have my package delivered. read more

Outstanding. Not only were they helpful with sending my package, but when I found I had issues with my vehicle in their parking lot, they went above-and-beyond to help me in any way they could. This sort of kindness and care for the customer is becoming rare in today's world, but UPS Store in Gallup still goes the extra mile for their customers.
