They charge you for everything. Even a piece of tape to close a box. I'll take my chances at using another location.

I had several pretty simple transactions...returning items with a prepaid labels. The GREAT thing is that the person that in the store advised that he would package the return for free. I do use the UPS store for my returns, usually Amazon. I wanted to give them all my shipping business but the very first time I tried to send something I feel I was overcharged. I asked why the price was so high and was told it's because it's going all the way to Iowa, lol, so I took it to USPS and was 3 dollars cheaper, which isn't really the point, I need to be able to trust that just because I bring a lot of returns I should not have to worry if im being gouged in some king of spiteful manner. Other than that and sometimes a snippy comment this fellow does ok, if I thought he wasn't getting compensated for taking returns I might be more sympathetic. The Amazon Returns section declares there is no need to repackage and label the return, but 99.99 percent of the time I bring shipping bags/boxes so as not to deplete his supplies and be a nuisance, but today he refused two Amazon returns because he wanted me to bring him some shipping bags, so OK I will be more mindful that he really is doing me a favor. read more

Some people do nothIng but complain and never provide a compliment when they get good service. I've been nothing but happy with this store and employees. So November 2019 and moving forward FIRST CLASS EXPERIENCE. Don't bother with the comments from years and years ago. They sound like miserable people in real life ! I don't know what all these negative complaints are all about. I've been going to this store for the last 6 years, it's super easy and convenient and they know me there. There are some new employees that don't but that's ok. If you want them to be friendly and greet you by name, get to know theirs too and be pleasant yourself. I do a lot of online shopping and returns and this is a very convenient spot to do e-commerce. Great guys in there! read more

Very happy to have this UPS store so conveniently located . The staff has been of great help showing me less expensive shipping options than what I was aware of . The customer service there was awful. It's hard to understand the people who works there. Took me a long time to translate their english to real english. I was there for 10 minutes waiting for them to finish typing the shipping address because they had trouble reading my writing. But, at least they let me use their bathroom while waiting for them to finish. read more

Pretty poor customer service overall. Use the Fedex store by the Safeway instead. The only reason to use UPS in Eldersburg is if you need to ship a package ground and can't get to Fedex Store by 4:00 (UPS picks up in Eldersburg at 6:30). If you really need a package well cared for, use FedEx Express, not ground. read more

Sadly must agree with the negative reviews. The younger fellow lacks basic courtesy. . Doing you a favor to help. Hopefully the older fellow will speak with him about how to treat customers, especially those more than twice his age. Respect for elders is an important trait. A chip on your shoulder is the best way to go out of business. read more

I have never received a smile from the people that work at this store. They seem put off when i come in and usually if its just a drop off, won't come out of the back. I have been there so many times, you would think I smile of recognition wouldn't hurt. Today was the last time I will ever go in, wanted to charge me $1 to retape my box! that's it. i go elsewhere from now on. read more

I use this drop off because it's easy. But the people in the store never greet me and sometimes don't respond to my greeting. Last week I was on the sidewalk in front of the store at 6:55pm with a big box in my arms and they locked the door for closing at 7. Very frustrating. I had a return paid label but even if they had to weigh it wouldn't have taken more than 5 minutes. I do whatever I can to use an envelope so i can drop in a nearby box. read more
