I was trying to make a return and she asked if I had a happy return.... I said I don't know what that means and she repeated herself and I responded I still don't know what you mean. I really reserve my negative reviews. Out of hundreds of experiences across the world, I've only had a handful of bad experiences, so believe me when I say this location has absolutely earned this one. Do not come here. This specific location consistently has been the worst to deal with. The staff is extremely unhelpful and at times plain rude. This includes the manager. If you look at the responses this privately owned store replies with, they're mostly defensive and seemingly immune to criticism. That explains everything you need to know. Having been in customer service in the past, I can tell you that Empathy goes a very long way and empathy is a foreign word to this establishment. I want to add that this is also not a one off, it has been this way for years now. I understand that Amazon returns seem to be the bane of UPS employees existence. And speaking of empathy, I get it. A LOT of customers cannot figure out the simple process. Some items need labels, some need packed boxes, some need nothing and they turn to you for help despite the fact It does tell you in the app. I'm sure it is very frustrating repeating yourself to frustrated customers all day. However, that is still your job, to assist when folks come to you for help. This may be an Amazon service, but you are the face of the company Amazon partners with. The problem is, if you ask anyone here for help, all you get is a snarky or belittling response. The frustration shouldn't be directed at your customers. The irony here is that this isn't even my issue, it's just what I've witnessed here multiple times. I also think UPS folks forget that if they're not willing to be kind or helpful when assisting with things that they may not make profit on or enjoy doing, there is zero incentive for us to utilize them for services where they do make a profit. Why would we? Today's situation resulted in a semi argument due to their collective ineptitude. I came in and tried to drop off my already labeled Amazon packages. These weighed a lot and I was clearly struggling with them. Instead of taking the packages and being on my way, I was told I HAD to scan them at a kiosk regardless of if they were labeled. I am familiar with the return process and have never had to do this before. I advised I didn't need a receipt if that's why they were asking me to do this, I was just dropping them off. They literally refused to accept the package until I went and scanned them and got a receipt. I carried the heavy boxes back to scan my items to get an unwanted receipt and then got back in a long line. I finally got back to the counter and an older lady who forgot she already talked to me advised I needed to go scan my items before dropping off. I advised I just did this, I'm simply trying to drop the packages off. She told me "IF" that was the case then I needed to bring the items to the table at the "far side of the store." She could and should have just taken the packages at the counter I had waited to get to but I guess this was a power play on her end. And this is the problem, they are ALWAYS that way here, and apparently nobody cares. Look at 5+ years of similar reviews as a perfect example. Never before have I had such an issue trying to drop packages off. This should have taken 30 seconds or less, and at every other location, it does. Every time I drop off at other locations it's in and out and on my way, heck sometimes they even ask me if I'd like them to give me a receipt which I politely decline. I sincerely believe this location took that Dave Chappelle skit about Pop Copy to heart. How they stay open here is beyond me. I usually drive across town to a different location just to avoid this place and I absolutely will now. Based on the lack of accountability and defensive replies from the owner, I urge you to go elsewhere as well. read more

The PO machine could not read my card so I stopped at the UPS store to mail a couple of large letter-sized envelopes. Long story short, USPS was $8 to mail them Priority mail. UPS Store was $32. The clerk said, "yeah but you didn't have to stand in that long line." It took him 15 minutes to process my order. I won't be back. read more

Blonde lady that works here has an incredibly terrible attitude and I notice it every time I come in. Unprofessional and rude treatment of paying customers, time and time again. First the staff were pleasant, but they had to ask to ship a holster. Which they were hesitant because it was for a gun. Then I had to include a $5 bill for my new holster to be shipped back to me. That was a no go because they can not ship cash. This is why I try to never ship with UPS but the location was good at the time. UPS driver, named Kelly, was making deliveries when his truck broke down. He was a half a mile from my house. He decided while he was waiting to have his delivery truck repaired, he would deliver my package to me. He walked a half mile to my house, delivered the package, and walked a half mile back. Kelly deserves a raise. Way to go Kelly. read more

The personnel at the store on Danforth Rd is awesome. They are attentive, cordial, and smart! They are able to ascertain each customers needs quickly and move into action. Its a small office and they move customers in/out in an orderly fashion. This UPS store is one of the best customer service stores I've witnessed and experienced. I'm sure the store is good when open but perhaps changing your closing time to 6:15 (instead of 6:30) might have saved me a trip since you decided to close early today. To respond to the question from management I did not try to walk in as the gate appeared to be all the way down with lights dimmed and nobody visible through window. I suspect the gate being pulled down even halfway would signify to most rational people that the business is no longer interested in new customers for the day. Not trying to get anyone in trouble if the response is from the manager who was there or owner who has to follow UPS store guidelines only wanted to share my perspective as a customer in what I experienced. read more

We recently moved to Edmond and my mother has used this location on a few occasions to return items to Amazon. Every time she's gone there the staff has been unhelpful, difficult to deal with, and lacking totally in customer service. Each time the staff has insisted that she box up and tape close the items she is returning to Amazon despite the Amazon return label saying no box is needed. I'm not positive if they just think it's OK to treat senior citizens with disrespect or if it's just an incredibly poorly run business. Thankfully, we won't ever be going there again because my mother demands that people treat her with basic common respect. read more

Worst customer experience I have ever witnessed. When I first walked in they were talking very rude about the person that had just walked out. And then when there was still a few minutes before the store closed they were super rude to the other person that came in. All I can say is very disappointing service. Lots of other options out there and I think we will explore them. The positive is the kid behind the counter admitted his error and owned up to it. His parents should be very proud of them. I can appreciate him for admitting an error. The negative is the older lady that just wants to argue and made a bad situation even worse. But at the end... she refunded me my money. No I am sorry... no remorse... no customer service. Blonde lady in the store was absolutely horrible to me. I brought in a big box for an Amazon return and she first chastised me for not putting it on the right side of the counter which is an innocent mistake, I wasn't doing it to be mean just didn't know. Then she rudely told me I was going to have to pay $2 for tape on the box bc I didn't tape it. Again, I didn't know bc I've brought items there before and never has to do that before. Horrid customer service! 3 attempts to pickup a package I paid to have rerouted from UPS to this store and still no package. UPS tracking shows it to be delivered. This store said they did not receive. What am I to do? Decent customer service would have some procedure in place to troubleshoot these situations. The customer service is wonderful everytime I go in. I have never had to wait too long or had any issues with them. They are always helpful and always acknowledge everyone when they walk in the door. I will not be using this store again. Just left there without sending my packages because the gentleman that was there to provide the service was not kind. He didn't even ask how he could help me. That I can get over. I had my box and my label and handed it to him. He then proceeded to tell me that it would be $2 to tape my box closed and $2 to tape my label on and then didn't say anything else. I said really and took my stuff and left. I will never use this store again. This isn't my first time to return an Amazon package at this location that it's not been a pleasurable or tolerable experience. The blonde woman is just very rude and it's unacceptable. I unfortunately didn't realize the package I was returning today needed the original packaging or that I needed to buy a replacement. I walked into the store, and she never spoke or greeted me until I said "hi, I have an Amazon return ". She did tell me that she couldn't send it without the original packaging or I could buy one for $5.00". I didn't have my wallet, so I said that I would be right back (leaving the package on the counter). As soon as I turned my back, she apparently made gestures and pointing to me at the other employee. So much so that my husband saw it from his vehicle while waiting for me. I grabbed my wallet and turned to go back inside and my husband got out to follow me in. When we walked back in, he called her out for all of the gestures that were made behind my back and she immediately started screaming at him and told us to leave the store. Honestly I was pretty shook over the screaming at us, and then the other employee says "well that's your opinion". After reading the reviews for this location, there seems to be a pattern of rudeness. As I stated earlier, I will not be back as no one deserves to be treated this way. It has been twice that I was refused service from FedEx because of silly excuses. I tried to ship a guitar case and FedEx didn't have a box to fit the guitar case, so they refused to ship it. Even though, they could have put 2 boxes together. So, I decided to go to UPS instead. I had no issues with the size of the box. George was very accommodating and friendly. I have been to several UPS stores and always had great service. I have now completely written off FedEx and their poor customer service. I explained that my phone number is private information, and that I didn't wish to give it out. She then rudely replied that she wouldn't mail my package. When I arrived, I was charged $5 for picking up my item at the UPS Store. I have NEVER had to pay a service charge from any other UPS store nationwide. I contacted Best Buy. They are GREAT... At shifting blame and not wanting to admit that a package is lost (shocker). I sent out a package to Tulsa on 1/7 and was given a mail receipt with a shipment ID on it. As of 1/14, it has not arrived. I went back to UPS and they inform me that it was sent via USPS so they are unable to track it. They then told me that I would have to go to the post office but they wouldn't be able to track it either because it was basically sent as if I put a stamp on it. So now I have a useless mail receipt, no package has arrived and no one to tell me where it is. read more
