I had a few packages that were sent to me, dropped off at this UPS Store because they held expensive items that I recently purchased online. I went to this UPS store to pick them up and the 'transaction' was fast and convenient. The guy that helped me was really nice as well. I won't have any issues with coming to this UPS Store to ship/receive packages in the future. I'll write up an updated review when I have more interaction with this store. read more

I don't recommend this store. Employee was trying to tell me i needed to bring it sealed and labeled. Persistent that i needed to print a label. Also while i was trying to do my drop off he ignored me to go help someone else multiple times. Horrible customer service. read more

I went to this UPS Store on Friday 07/17/26 to mail an art print to my daughter in Tucson for her birthday. The tube was 25 inches long by 2.75 inches around weighing 2lbs. The clerk told me it would be $114.00 to send it 3 Day Priority. When I questioned him about it he said it was because it was an odd shape and would be cheaper to send in a square UPS box. I left without purchasing mailing services from UPS. The incident didn't feel right. It still doesn't feel right. Has UPS become that expensive or do they have a thieving weasel behind the counter preying on older people? I'm 71 years old. Just wondering UPS read more

I use the UPS store all the time because they're the only one in our town and they are absolutely horrible. The store employees are constantly on their phones. They never look up or even acknowledge you or smile. They work at a snails pace and go out of their way to make everything harder for everybody. It seems to be run by the most miserable humans ever. They are super inconsistent on what they will take as far as boxes for returns or not. It just depends on whether you get someone in a good mood or not which is almost never. Customer service is nonexistent and they will charge you for absolutely anything they can. Seems like management has no desire to make any changes to better their service. read more

I had a horrible experience here. I traded in 2 cell phones when purchasing new and needed to ship trade-in phones. Cox Mobile provided the a box to return both phones in and I was directed to take the box to a UPS Store and simply have them scan a QR code in two emails to send them back. Easy Peasy. But it wasn't. I was immediately told both phones cannot ship in one box, even though they were shipping to the same place. I'd have to unpackage which would destroy the box and I would have to purchase two boxes from them to ship my phones. Seriously? I was not going to comply and I asked to cancel my transaction. I left there with the box. Today I took my one box of phones to a UPS Store in Omaha. They scanned the two email and handed me a receipt, thanked me for coming in. Took less than two minutes, no hassle. Easy Peasy like it was supposed to be. So did this man working at the UPS store in Council Bluffs just want to harrass a woman, and try to make a few bucks in the process? Would he have behaved that way with a man? Or even if I had a man present with me? Gotta ask yourself the question. There was obviously no real processing problem, he just didn't want to help me unless I bought something from them. I went there to ship a money order to Canada, paid $46 dollars to ship it. Envelope came back a few days later saying prohibited item. Went back to store to see what the problem was. I was told they can't ship money orders to Canada. I said why wasn't I advised of this at the initial time of shipping. Manager said I'm sorry if you weren't advised of this, the agent probably didn't know. Why are your employees aware of polocies?? I was told there is nothing they can do and can't refund me. They charge 1.62 to print THEIR OWN SHIPPING LABEL. This is insane. They also quoted me $98 to ship a box. Went online and purchased and it's $65. This store is a huge scam. Won't be back and I'd recommend you take the 5 min drive over to fedex. read more

This store is the biggest ripoff. Clearly out for a profit on the backs of everyone else. I shipped two boxes and they claimed I had to pay over $50 if I wanted them delivered by Christmas. But normally I go to the UPS on Gomez Avenue and if I ship on a Tuesday they are delivered on Friday. I did not pay the $50 but took the cheaper option. Guess what? The packages are going to be delivered on Friday. Clearly they were trying to overcharge me at their benefit. Also I had two packages under $25 and he wanted to charge me $69. I told him that didn't add up but he was still reluctant to check the total, or he didn't know how. I had to watch him like a hawk to make sure I was charged correctly. Be warned! Also when I was there a customer came in and wanted one stamp. The guy was going to charge him $.85. We know that a first class stamp is only $.55. They try to charge you an up charge on absolutely everything. I wonder how many people they rip off with their lies. read more

I take serious issue with preparing my package ahead of time, quoting on the UPS site, calling ahead of time, initially being quoted $23 online, then $25 based on shape and dimensions in the store then to be hit with a crap load of additional charges driving the price up to $50 to $55. read more

The convenience of the "suite" (Box number) is great. I can go in during business hours and pick-up mail or any boxes held at he business. It is like an office without an office, Most of the time, wanting to mail a package is quick and easy. No long lines and good service. read more

I had a package delivered to the UPS Store in Council Bluffs...arrived at 9 a.m. on a Saturday to pick up...store was not open (even though the sign stated hours as 9-4 on a Saturday). I waited until 9:15 a.m. along with another customer. I then left to run another errand and returned at 9:25...still not open and another customer was waiting. I reluctantly went home and called the store at 11:15 a.m. The person answering the phone said he had overslept because of "medication". This is not the way to run a business and I will NOT be using this UPS store in the future. read more
