After extensive research along with a few phone calls, I found The Ship Station on John W Morrow Jr Pkwy to have the MOST reasonable prices for monthly rentals. You can't "rent by month" but in 3 month or longer increments. I called and was taken care of like a pro. Yvonne and her husband are beyond friendly, they make you feel like family. Yvonne reminded me of another awesome female business owner... Me. She was extremely helpful and made the process very easy. Once we came in (a few weeks later) she immediately welcomed us and was just as beautiful as I imagined. Her personality shines, and so does her attention to detail. The facility was FAR more than expected. I mean... if I had unlimited money to spend on "wants" I would buy so much stuff for myself or friends/family. I would probably spend way too much there and not regret it. The entire staff is friendly and helpful, but Yvonne is a dream. I love coming in for my weekly city visit to pick up my mail and chat it up with Yvonne. TRIGGER ALERT: Not only can you rent a U-Haul trailer, but you can pick up a Christian shirt or a Trump cup. For those who hate 45, you won't notice those things as the store is filled with something for everyone. I'm very MAGA and I appreciate seeing my Cheeto man on items I can purchase for gifts. So yeah - go ahead and get mad, I miss my low gas prices, rent, and food prices as well as a president who can read a teleprompter or walk up stairs. I have a key and can grab my mail after hours, but I'd rather come in and be an in person patron of a pleasant smile, warm conversation, and good memories evoking positive store ambiance scents with my mail. I visited Staples this morning to have a technician examine my laptop, which I suspect may have a…read morevirus. I had previously purchased a McAfee protection package with support through the store, sold to me by a technician named Sunil back in May. Even then, I sensed something was off in our interaction, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt, assuming my own frustration with my laptop might have clouded my judgment. Today confirmed that my instincts were right--it wasn't me, it was Sunil. I waited over twenty minutes while he assisted another couple. When it was finally my turn, he spent barely two minutes with me before a woman interrupted, asking if someone could check her out. Sunil told her he would assist her, not after finishing with me, but immediately. He stopped helping me mid-conversation and began checking her out. I asked, "Are you serious?" and he replied, "Yes." He attempted to continue speaking with me while helping her, but I told him I'd wait until he was finished so my concerns could be properly addressed. Instead of returning to me, he then took the next customer in line--a man--without explanation. I asked again, "You're going to take him now and make me wait again?" and he said, "Yes." At that point, I was livid. I told him I would not continue waiting and that his behavior was unacceptable. What I experienced was blatant and overt discrimination. It was so egregious that the woman he prioritized over me apologized. This kind of treatment is unacceptable in any professional setting. I strongly believe Staples needs to reevaluate Sunil's conduct and consider appropriate disciplinary action.
