Every time I head back to Ohio, I love to stock up on craft beers at the stellar Convenient Food Mart on Brecksville Road (see separate review). Because I was flying this visit, I popped in to this UPS store, to get my purchases packed for checked luggage. Steve was fabulous! He carefully wrapped all the bottles, and had everything ready for me to pick up after I popped out for a quick Starbucks. Even knowing the box probably got some rough handling on the flight, all the bottles made it home safely! Thanks for the cheerful service, Steve. Cheers to you! Unfortunately, due to location, I have used this store a few times to ship. 90%of the time it gets lost. I used it to send a package to Ireland. A year later they still can't find it. I used it to send paperwork on a loan - never got there. I used them to return two Amazon items which I brought in at the same time. One was shipped, the other was lost. Now today, I was told the Cable equipment I returned is lost. What the hell? Never ever use the place. It is horrendous. The worst part is they lie when you ask what happened. They make up where the package is - but when you call regular UPS there is no info. Maybe they are stealing stuff, not sure. Just an opinion theory why it has happened so much. Take my advice, go to a different store. read more

Big increase in Omicron this week. I came to your store to find five customers with two young children and two employees. One employee wore face covering and one did not. Your space is tiny. Sorry, I take my health and the health of others seriously. Then the Fed Ex guy had me cornered when he came in without face covering. Please start a queue outside the store when you are this busy. I would avoid this location at all costs. In December 2020, I ordered a number of items from a large major retailor. On the retailer's website, one of the options included having my items delivered to this UPS Store, which is located in the City where I live. I ordered the items with delivery to the UPS Store so that I could be assured that my packages would be safe during this holiday season. On the date in which I expected the packages to be delivered to the UPS Store, I received a notification that the items 'could not be delivered'. When I called, I spoke to the owner of this UPS Store location who directly told me that he returns all packages sent to this location unless you are renting a mailbox from him. 'Receiving packages does not generate income for me', he said, 'so I return them'. Beware of this location and have your packages shipped to a location that will not return your packages. read more

Worst ups location in the area. The guy working acts as if you are bothering him when you are just in to ship something. Other locations much friendlier and efficient to deal with. I use the place when short on time because the location is close to an area I shop at regularly and ultimately gets the job done , but if I have just 10 extra minutes to spare I will use that extra 10 minutes to go out of my way to a different ups store. read more

Amateur thieves. I sold a guitar online. I brought the guitar in a soft case and in a Corrugated Fender box that another guitar was shipped in to this store. The guy told me if I shipped it in this box, the guitar would be broken during shipping. He told me I had to buy a UPS guitar box and ship for $150. As soon as I declined, the guy started back-tracking, said I could ship in the box I had but UPS wouldn't support an insurance claim if it was broken during shipping. Guess what? I left and went to FedEx. It shipped through FedEx for $26. No hassles, no b.s. The guitar arrived in perfect condition. These UPS franchises are high school drop-out losers with no business sense. They just want to up-sell to make money for the store at the price of naive customers. Don't waste your time and money here. read more

I worked for a company where I had to ship packages every week from different locations. I came in with 5 or 6 packages that I had already gone online and printed labels for. All I needed was to drop off the packages, they scan them in, and give me a receipt. I had done it many times at other locations, but the OWNER at this location said he wouldn't give me a receipt because it took too much time to scan them in? Uhh, it takes 1 minute and I wasn't leaving these very valuable packages there without a receipt. He said either leave them without a receipt or call for a pick up (it was too late for that and they needed to go out that day). He explained that he makes almost nothing doing this sort of thing. Well, I'm sorry, but it says UPS on the door! I would have gladly used his profitable services when I needed them, but he had to be a jerk about it. He took the packages and gave me a receipt and told me never again. Thanks, I wasn't coming back anyway. read more

I recently went the the ups store in brecksville and had a good experience. I had to ship out a few family antiques and I wasn't sure how to package them and the price. The staff was pleasant and took the time to instruct me on how to ship them so they wouldn't break. I ultimately did not ship them because my cousin came and instead picked them up. But I did have to call the store back a couple of times for more information and they were always pleasant. read more

I dropped off my textbooks to be shipped back a week before the holiday rush. Never having had trouble at this location before, I falsely assumed everything would go according to plan. After being charged a late fee from the textbook company I tracked my packages and it turns out my books haven't even shipped yet nearly 2 and a half weeks after dropping them off!
