I normally don't write reviews for package shipping locations because, well, you bring your stuff in, they double check where you want the package to go and you pay them. It's not a complicated transaction.
So, normally, what's to say? Except in this one case I have to acknowledge really exceptional customer service. When I'd packed my suitcase, I'd managed to get the expansion zipper hopelessly stuck. I'd meant to bring it to a luggage repair place to have them work their magic, but, of course, I never got around to it. When I got to the UPS store, the woman there mentioned it. Because she was worried that it might get damaged in transit, she offered to try to use some soap to unstick it. I didn't think she'd be able to do it, but I was certainly happy to have her try.
I just got my packages from the Keys yesterday, and there it was, all properly zipped.
Of course, the point of this story isn't, "if your luggage zipper gets stuck, ask for help at the UPS store" but rather, that the customer service at the Big Pine Key UPS store is way above and beyond.
P.S. I wrote all that before I opened up the box of misc. stuff that I'd accumulated and stuffed into a big ikea bag. None of it was particularly important, just stuff that, well if I was already sending a box home, why not throw in the extra measuring spoons I'd picked up, sort of thing. I've done that before, and typically the bag is dumped into the box with maybe the decorative dishtowel kind of looped around the coffee mug (which, in fairness, is the way I gave it to them). Not this box, everything was neatly organized, wrapped, taped.
