This store is horrific and needs to be shut down by corporate. Dropped off a 'next day' package and just sat in the store for 24 hrs. "It was supposed to be picked-up" but it never was. They tried to make excuses like 'don't drop next day in the self-scan. Why? Why no signage? Corporate told us to take it down. Corporate needs to take this store down. They are poorly run, disorganized, and take zero accountability. read more

I was struck with aww on how great these guys are and how they are ready to help local community! I am a new business owner and still learning the ropes, I ran out of thermal printer paper which is crucial for my business because without it I can do food tickets and that is a major problem. I was calling around if anyone locally sold this but with out luck, so I called UPS store and asked if they sold this paper and I believe Chris answered the phone. He said he has it but doesn't sell them but can give me one, I was willing to pay but he said I can just have it. I was blown away by this and touched by the gesture. I went to pickup the paper and he handed me 3!!! Who does that these days, totally unprepared for this but glad to see there people/businesses who step up beyond norm. THANK YOU!!! read more

UPS should hire people who are professional and care about increasing business, not chasing it away. I just phoned from Honolulu to find out if an area rug could be shipped from there to here. The first thing I was told? " Yeah but it's gonna cost a lot." I think the choice whether it's too expensive to ship via UPS should be up to me, the customer. Next I asked if it would be possible to get a quote. Rather than letting me know which dimensions I would need in order to get a quote, I was rudely asked "Do you have all the measurements and weight?" at which point I just hung up the phone. If you want customers, a good idea is to graciously assist them. If they are calling you it's because they would like to give you business. Might I still use UPS for this? Maybe, and only if I'm desperate. But I'm also looking into other options at this very minute. read more

Stopped in today with a time constraint. Computer want "available" but the staff allowed me to waste time pulling up my documents to be printed before telling me I needed to email the documents to them. What's the email address? I don't know because the staff went about answering phones and helping customers who arrived after I did. So I left without a single thing accomplished and feeling frustrated by the poor costumer service. This UPS store has the BEST service! I just went to a Fed Ex store in Medford (because my client had an account I had to use) and had the worst experience trying to ship a simple package. It made me appreciate my UPS store SO MUCH! The people who work there are Awesome! They seem to know everyone and my husband tells me when he walks in that they just hand him his mail. He always forgets his key. Friendly, efficient service and the shop itself is comfortable feeling and has everything I need. The UPS service is a disgrace. I have bought over $100 worth of merchandise and their driver misdelivered my package. I went on to make a claim and it's been a month since I was supposed to receive my shipment and they say they are investigating with no updates and can't even provide proof of address. I am disgusted with this service. Their Ashland hub provides the worst most incompetent service I have ever seen. When you call they don't even answer and the automated voice hangs up in your face. Mailing packages overseas and domestically has never been easier. They store the addresses that you've shipped to so it comes right up the next time you want to send something to the same place. You don't have to fill out a customs form like you do at the post office. And the address comes out on a sticker that they adhere to your package. The customer service is top notch! read more

This UPS store has gone downhill rapidly. I shipped a package to Brooklyn and needed it to time it for when the recipient would be in town. The counter person assured me that they could hold it for two days to hit the delivery window. He sent it out that night. They've screwed two other packages sent the same week. Either UPS at large is falling down on the job, or this store in particular is truly awful. In either case, I strongly suggest avoiding the UPS store in Ashland. read more

This store is not owned by UPS. It is a franchise. Staff and management unhelpful. They refuse to send packages using your own or the recipient's UPS account number. There are no UPS air bills or other supplies available at this location. Recommend using FedEx and/or the shipping shop on A Street instead. read more

Poor representation for UPS. Sent overnight letter and it took 3 days. Gave them a six months break, "sarroie pick up at 3:30" ok overnight now will be there in two days. Two days later no shipment! Use the UPS drop box if you want even a chance to get something done out of Ashland. read more
