This last shirt order I had, has sent me around the town on a hunt more than others! After not…read morefinding crewnecks in XL in stores and online, and trying to find an inkjet printer I ended up at UPS. I called staples, only laser jet printers in case you were wondering. I called Coughlin Printing Group, they have inkjet but can only print on regular paper and canvas and offer larger printing sizes. What I needed was an 8 1/2 by 11 transfer sheet (iron on) printed to complete 2 child crewnecks for Black History Month. I called this UPS location and the rep stated he did not know if the printers were laser or inkjet, he'd never been asked the question before. I asked if there was a manager or anyone in the store who knew and he stated, there was not. I asked for the printer type so I could potentially google it. He placed me on a brief hold. When he returned he said it was my lucky day as the manager had just walked in and confirmed the printers were inkjet. I headed to UPS ASAP! Once I arrived, there are signs on the floor for social distancing and hand sanitizer is provided. The manager, Bob is who ended up helping me. I emailed my images to him and he was able to place them on a single page and convert the document to a pdf. He printed a test sheet to ensure it was the quality I wanted. Also to figure out how the transfer paper needed to be loaded into the printer. Once all the kinks were figured out, we printed my creation and I was all set. Took about 30 minutes but I was in no rush. Bob was super patience and helpful. He was insightful, paid attention to detail and made sure my needs were met. After finishing up, I asked what my bill total was and to my surprise, Bob replied nothing! He said you bought your own paper and we figured this out together while you waited patiently so you owe nothing. This was sooo unexpected and if I could have left a tip, I would have. Great customer service is NOT dead everywhere and this UPS proved that. I will definitely return for all of my future printing needs and I recommend this UPS and especially Bob! I'm willing to pay any day for services here! Check out the final product in the pictures that I created!

We used the uhaul company to move to Alexandria Bay, NY from Houston, TX. In Houston, our vehicle…read morewas attached to the 5'x8' trailer we had rented by the staff. When we arrived at Thousand Islands Auto to return the uhaul trailer we had used, at approx. 2:30pm, we were told by the Owner/Manager that we needed to disconnect the the trailer ourselves and manually put the trailer away with the other uhaul trailers on his property ourselves. This took us approx 30-35 minutes to fully disconnect the electrical system and chains that the staff had connected the trailer with, we had no idea how to do this because we hadn't been where the staff was in Houston when it was connected. The vehicle was due back that day at 2:45 pm. By the time we came back in (just after 3pm), the Owner told us that we were now late and would have to pay for an additional day. We said we were there on time and couldn't understand being charged an entire day for a trailer that was by his standards "15 minutes late" and not even being rented. We fully understand protocol but this was ludicrous. He then said we could get clearance if we spoke with the Houston, TX property and after they confirmed that it was not their policy to charge for an additional day due to our situation, the owner then declared that they were privately owned and that he physically could not remove the charge. He refused to be calm or use any sort of a peaceful or professional demeanor with us and was very aggressive and at one point laughing in my husband's face when we said we had to get out of there because my husband's father was in ICU like we had made up some lie or guilt trip for him. Incredibly rude and carries a Better Business Bureau sticker on his business, unfortunately he is not current on that and should remove the sticker as he does not have the privilege of such an esteemed position with his business. Look it up if you don't believe me. We were charged $30 for the additional day on a vehicle we did not use for an additional day and were even given an okay from the company that originally wrote up the paperwork NOT to be charged. Even if the man HAD to charge us (which he didn't because our vehicle WAS there on time) he could have had a better professional demeanor for customers. We have every receipt and all the paperwork. For $30 this individual earned lots of free publicity. NEGATIVE publicity. This is a very friendly mom and pop community and does not need outsider fat cats trying to cash in on the area's reputation and legacy by scamming people.
