On May 1, 2021, I requested assistance from my financial advisor (Brian West). I was seeking…read morefinancial information for a form that I was completing. He stated that he would be happy to assist me if I would email him the forms. He would complete those forms and submit them for me. The deadline for filing those forms was June 25, 2021. He has told me that the forms were submitted. I have called the fund administrator to see if the forms had been filed. They have no record of the forms. It is now too late to submit the forms UNLESS I can provide them with a copy of the forms that were submitted, how they were submitted or that the forms were submitted no later than June 25, 2021 with a postmark of that same date (if the forms were sent via USPS). I have called/texted/emailed Progressive Financial Concepts for the last four months to try and get an answer as to if these forms were filed, how they were submitted, any documentation they have that proved these documents were submitted, etc. and I have not had a response to any of my communications. I would like Brian West or Kory Budinger to call me and let me know if the forms were submitted and provide proof that they were submitted. I cannot go forward without proof/documentation that these forms were actually submitted. We have been clients for many years with Progressive Financial Concepts (until recently). I find their lack of respect for their clients needs and/or concerns to be inadequate. When I call the main office number the receptionist tells me, "he just went to the parking lot, he is in a meeting or he just got on the phone". I leave a message with her to have them call me back and I am still waiting on a response. If I send an email, I was told it went to their spam folder and he didn't see it or If I text, I get no response at all. I would like a phone call to get the answers I am asking for. I don't think that is too much to ask as they were our Financial Advisor's for years'.

1 star (only because a zero-star option is unavailable)…read more I contacted this firm seeking bankruptcy-related legal services after being advised that the initial consultation was provided at no cost. I initially declined representation; however, the firm continued to follow up and applied pressure to retain my business, including reducing the quoted filing fee. I ultimately agreed to proceed. I made several monthly payments. After changing banks, I unintentionally missed a small number of automatic debits due to failing to update my payment information. During that period, the firm sent emails and made phone calls checking on the status of my account. Once my payment information was corrected, I eventually made the decision not to proceed with filing bankruptcy, accept my debt, and pay on my own. The firm's written agreement states that a refund may be issued if a client elects not to move forward. What is not clearly disclosed is that all communications and administrative activity--including the purportedly free initial consultation--are later classified as billable. As a result, the firm asserted that all funds I had paid were consumed by fees, leaving no refund available. The engagement agreement does not clearly define what constitutes billable work or when billing begins, which I find materially misleading. After I communicated my decision to discontinue services, the firm continued attempting to retain my business rather than promptly honoring my request to terminate representation. Recommendation: Prospective clients should carefully review and seek clarification--preferably in writing--regarding what this firm considers billable activity and when charges commence. Alternatively, consider retaining a firm that provides clearer disclosures and greater transparency. I also note that in responses to negative reviews, ownership frequently alleges that such reviews are "fake," rather than substantively addressing the concerns raised. Readers may wish to consider that pattern when evaluating this firm.

I spent over 400 to receive what I was told would be a "highly detailed and powerful resume" and LinkedIn "facelift." The first draft I received was unbelievably disappointing. The words used to describe my job description aren't words used in my field. The job skills included are skills for an entry level position and excluded skills that showed me being at an advanced level, after 15 years of being in my career. They couldn't even spell check the draft and they had repeated sentences under the same job. It looked as if someone had quickly thrown sentences together without reading or spell checking it with NO knowledge of my job. I notified Lindsey, the first person I spoke to in creating the first draft, with absolutely no response. It was an assistant who would only communicate with me and that got me nowhere. I took the mess they sent me and rewrote the resume in its entirety. Almost every sentence had to be rewritten. They NEVER started or completed my LinkedIn. I'm super disappointed. I didn't have the time or the energy to write my resume and in the end I paid 400 to do it myself and I have all the documentation showing this. I emailed William, the account manager and expressed all of this to him and it went nowhere. I'll be filling a complaint with the better business bureau along with all of the proof.

It is an understatement to say that I was impressed with Monica and her entire office. Not only were they always prompt in their responses to me, but the cost was reasonable. Monica is always honest and upfront and to describe her in a word, FIERCE. She will fight for your wishes as if they are her own. Since Monica handled my case, I have dealt with two other lawyers/law offices (my significant other's cases - not my own) and am even more confident in her office after witnessing how awful they were. After his awful experiences with other offices, my significant other has ended his service with his lawyers and moved to Monica Donaldson-Stewart as well! I have another issue involving my children and immediately reached out to Monica for direction. She replied very quickly with helpful advice and a recommendation to speak with Marty Zalevsky. Marty Zalevsky is another attorney at Donaldson-Stewart. I met with her involving child support as she has a lot of experience with DES child support cases. She is hilarious and down to earth, while being incredibly knowledgeable and professional. She went above and beyond and I highly recommend her and Monica for every law issue you have!
