I have been currently furloughed during the COVID-19 process and realized that my resume was out of date and not getting looks on websites like glassdoor or zip recruiter. I went to BBB.com to ensure I was contacting a well respected company. I received multiple quotes, and DoMyResume.net offered the most help (Resume, Cover Letter, reference sheet, LinkedIN, etc.,) for the best price. Prior to the purchase, the directions were well explained on how the process would work, and they followed through! My writer, Angela C., was amazing and really appeared to get to know me to ensure my resume felt personalized and an accurate reflection of myself. I strongly recommend them. Thank you! This is a scam! If I could give them - stars I would. If you look at the last 5 star it was from 3-6 years ago. I spent over 400 to receive what I was told would be a "highly detailed and powerful resume" and LinkedIn "facelift." The first draft I received was unbelievably disappointing. The words used to describe my job description aren't words used in my field. The job skills included are skills for an entry level position and excluded skills that showed me being at an advanced level, after 15 years of being in my career. They couldn't even spell check the draft and they had repeated sentences under the same job. It looked as if someone had quickly thrown sentences together without reading or spell checking it with NO knowledge of my job. I notified Lindsey, the first person I spoke to in creating the first draft, with absolutely no response. It was an assistant who would only communicate with me and that got me nowhere. I took the mess they sent me and rewrote the resume in its entirety. Almost every sentence had to be rewritten. They NEVER started or completed my LinkedIn. I'm super disappointed. I didn't have the time or the energy to write my resume and in the end I paid 400 to do it myself and I have all the documentation showing this. I emailed William, the account manager and expressed all of this to him and it went nowhere. I'll be filling a complaint with the better business bureau along with all of the proof. read more

I AM VERY, VERY IMPRESSED. HIGH QUALITY PRODUCT. AFFORDABLE FEES & FAST SERVICE. Lindsay D. (Certified Professional Resume Writer) created my cover and my resume in only 2.5 days. Jerome C. (Customer Service Manager) is a very personable and speedy in responding. I purchased Package #5. Keep reading for more info... I've used 3 Phoenix-based resume writing services-available online- in the past 2.5 years. The bottom line is I hate my job and I have been looking for a new one since December 2014. I have used these 3 businesses multiple times. Two of the services were awful. The very first one was so bad that I gave her a bad YELP review, will never take it down, and had to overhaul the language she used and add/remove experiences from the resume. She chared me $350 just for the resume! The second service got so tired of writing multiple resumes/cover letters for me in the past 2.50 years that they actually asked me never to request service again--even though I was a paying customer. Weird, huh? The 3rd service was so hideous that I asked for my money back and got it back, too. It was a tedious read and hard on the eyes. My friend who is a CPA with an MBA said she would have thrown it away without reading it. My cousin who has a Ph.D & a Federal job said the same thing. Why so? My master/chronological looks more like a C.V. and reads like a novel. I've done seasonal work for over a decade in multiple industries. Most sectors are related, but some are wildly different. So, when creating a targeted resume, a resume writer can lose focus and make it look like a dictionary vomited on paper. I am very pleased with Package #5, Lindsay D., and Jerome C. I highly recommend DMR anyone who needs FAST (turnaround), FRIENDLY (service), & FABULOUS (documents)! 5-14-2017 UPDATE: A week after submitting my cover letter & resume, I was invited to a 1st interview!!!! A week after that, I was invited to a 2nd interview. I'm awaiting the final decision. 5-24-2017 UPDATE: I was offered a position TODAY! Finally, I found & landed my most current dream job. read more

Do My Resume - I'm a happy customer! - Editorial Services Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

I did a week research on company's, I selected do my resume based on the communication and response time from William, he made the process for me so easy for me to make my decision. I am so glad I chose this company to help create my resume. Debbie R. was great to work with and she took the time to understand my history and goals. The resume she constructed is very professional and of high quality. There is no way I could have constructed one like this on my own. I am proud of my resume and know it will help me find the job I am seeking. read more

Had a good experience the first time with them, but after they earned my business I tried reaching out again because I referred someone who used their services. As courtesy, I wanted an edit for free of my already created resume because of the referral I gave them and they never responded at all to my requests. It wasn't anything major, just adding 1 job to the resume but after multiple times of me trying to reach out I gave up. Not good customer service once they earn your business. I would use Etsy or fivver next time for resume creation. read more

Amazing customer service!!!! Great prices. DoMyResume provides an outstanding "one-stop-shop" for professionals. I was able to have a FEDERAL resume constructed beautifully which is super difficult and tedious, have great headshots for my LinkedIn and a great cover letter. I also bought the package that helped build a professional LinkedIn page. I just did not have the time to dedicate to any of these important projects. I must admit that I NEVER had anyone do my resume because I simply did not trust anyones ability to control my professional future. I was very nervous and skeptical of a resume service-- How could anyone else really capture YOU, on paper? Victoria did a tremendous job for me and she really cared about me and my professional goals. Victoria is truly talented and a wonderful, caring person, too! I will use this service again for help with my civilian resume. Thank you!!! read more

Great value! I chose the all inclusive option and Lindsay D delivered big time. Very professional resume and cover letter, could not be more happy. She spent time to get to know me and where I wanted to go with my career to really customize my resume to me. She was also nice enough to educate me on why things are done the way there are and how companies filter out resumes with key word searches and such. I would definitely recommend this please. read more

I just got my resume and cover letter back from Lindsay D AT DoMyResume.net. First of all I chose them because of the comprehensive services they offer. LinkedIn profile, thank you note, reference list. 1 on 1 consultation. I have to say everything was great. I had questions prior to purchasing and those were answered without being pushy to make a sale. The resume and cover letter were superb. Wordsmithed far better than I could. Resume writing has changed significantly since I was a last looking for work 10 years ago. It's all about key word searches and getting employer's attention in 30 seconds or less. read more

I called Do My Resume due to the great YELP reviews and I was not disappointed. I called and spoke with William who outlined the process. After I submitted my request I had an email from Victoria A within 24 hours to setup a time for us to meet. Victoria asked excellent probing questions to better understand my experience. Victoria did an excellent job on my resume and cover letter. This has made more confident in my job search. read more

They were patient with my limited availability but still produced a great resume for me. Though I went to them with what I thought was a solid resume, the one they produced for me was so much better. My initial resume read like a job description where the one I received from them provide far more insights into my capabilities and offerings. I would highly recommend!!! read more

Paid for the highest tier of resume services but never got a completed resume. They only communicate through email, no phone calls. Calls to management were unreturned. Disputed with my CC company and was refunded. Would NOT recommend. read more

Debbie R. is awesome! From beginning to end she made the entire process seamless. She was able to craft my resume so that it was versatile. I pride myself on being a good writer, however, my skills are unmatched in comparison to Debbie's skillset. I wanted to take a moment to provide a review of Do My Resume. I spent quite a bit of time to review different companies offering similar services. I found very positive reviews here and on other sites, and they were spot on. The response from the resume writer was timely. She was on time for our interview appointment. The interview session was very in depth, almost a mini job interview! The resume itself looked great as did the cover letter. Part of my package was to overhaul my LinkedIn profile, we haven't done that yet. So I'll review that when it's complete. read more

I chose this firm because of its excellent reviews, suite of options, and pricing structure. Lindsay was my writer and our initial interview call was almost an hour long. She was very good at putting my description of my job and my likes into usable industry words for me. My first round of cover letter and resume was nearly perfect and 1000% better than the resume I had created myself (although I thought my resume was well done, I wasn't getting a single hit on it). I'm very impressed with the quality of work, turnaround time, and I'm looking forward to the makeover of my LinkedIn page. I have already recommended them to several of my coworkers; I'm extremely happy! Worth every penny! read more

This place is impressive. My husband used them (and a few other friends and colleagues too), so we decided to give them a shot. They did excellent. read more

When searching for a resume writer YELP helped me make that an easy decision. Domyresume.net exceeded my expectations and their resume writer, Lindsey was remarkable to work with. She pulled the most relevant and best examples of my work and presented them in a concise understandable manner. She gave promised delivery dates and met each one. I only had two minor changes to make which was included in the original purchase price and then added some new information that she quickly was able to revise my resume. Very pleased and would highly recommend the service! read more

My resume was slightly outdated since I graduated college; with the thorough questions Lindsay asked, not only did my resume showcase my experience, but it also showed me to be the rock-star that I know that I am. Thank you so much Lindsay & Jerome for your great customer service, lack of hesitation when I had questions, and your suggestions to help any job search to be successful. There was one misspelling and my preference of the oxford comma was not an issue for me & easy to correct - and my feedback directly to Lindsay was accepted like a professional. Additionally, the value of your package did not hurt my pocketbook! Thank you! read more

I am only giving them 1 star because you cannot give zero stars. The service was recommended by a friend who found them online. I don't have that much money, but I felt like it was a safe bet to spend $160 with them to find a better job. One reason in particular I felt I could trust them was their guarantee that you get a call back within 30 days or your money back. This was the worst experience. I received my resume and it was very promising. However, after applying for 36 jobs in the first four weeks I had yet to have any email responses, let alone a phone call. I emailed the company asking about the guarantee after 5 weeks. I received a response fairly quickly asking a bunch of questions about what time I applied for the jobs, etc. Shortly after that I received a phone call from the women who wrote my resume itself. She was crying, saying that the company was refusing to pay her for the last few resumes she worked on. It was incredibly awkward. I then emailed the company to inform them what happened. All they could offer was "please contact your local Police Department and report her." Then, they provided me the terms for the guarantee. "In order to qualify for a refund, you must submit your resume 15-20 times a day, 5 days a week, for 30 days after receiving your completed resume and provide proof that you have done so. Getting called in for interviews is a numbers game." In other words, they don't care if the job you are called back for is a job you are actually looking for. There do not exist 300 job openings for the position I do. Their suggested fix was to apply for jobs within 24 hours of their posting and between the hours of 4am and 7am. Furthermore! They asked about my cover letter, and I submitted to them a copy of my friend's cover letter that I have been using. The response to that was "The Cover Letter has numerous typos/errors and is not Search Engine Optimized (SEO)". What they did not know was the letter I copied was from *their* company that my friend paid to have done. I would *NEVER* recommend this service to anyone as it was a colossal waste of time and essentially a scam. read more

Great company to work with - it's awesome they have a local office. The resume writer, Lindsay, was very helpful and seemed extremely experienced. She took my existing resume, interviewed me for more info, and rewrote the entire thing. It looks very impressive. I didn't even know my experience reflects that well on paper! There is no way I could've done the level of work she produced no matter how much time I spent on it. Sheena did my headshot and she is just a doll! Very excellent experience all around. Looking forward to see how my LinkedIn turns out. read more

I was contacted a couple days after I purchased the service and was given instructions on what to collect in preparation for the phone interview. I was able to maximize the interview time to brainstorm with the writer the idea for how I wanted to have my resume presented. Lindsay asked various questions to get a better feel and understood. Being former military, Lindsay was able to make military schools and experiences relatable to the civilian work force. I was 90% satisfied after the first draft and a few tweaks later the second draft was what I wanted. After blessing off on the resume Jerome worked my LinkedIn and again I was satisfied with it and I feel more confident that I am representing myself more completely then before. read more
