    This is the second year we stayed at The Twist for Pride weekend, and I highly recommend it. The rooms are cozy with a retro decor, the service is outstanding and the location superb (walking distance to all Pride events, restaurants, bars and clubs). This is now our place to stay when we visit PS next time.

    This is my second time staying at The Twist in Palm Springs and it will continue to be my go to whenever I'm in Palm Springs. I love this place so much, the rooms are so cute and colorful and the service is amazing. Jaime was great, he deserves a raise! When you check in you can go to the lobby for a complimentary margarita and I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted it! I don't know what mix Jaime uses but it was delicious! There's also a water dispenser by the elevator which is very convenient if you have an insulated bottle with you. This place is a 10/10 in every aspect.

    This is the perfect vibe in Palm Springs great location, killer decor super clean , staff was super helpful and friendly. You get margs served to you pool side . Pool open 24 hours ! Bikes available and super huge rooms with killer patios . Definitely will go back here again !!!!!

    10/10 The Twist Palm Springs! After reading the reviews we booked here for the weekend. Once booked they give you a # to text for all your needs and room code before arriving. The rooms were very spacious and pool was extra clean. Right next door to a speakeasy bar, Ernest coffee, and Bootlegger Tiki Bar 10/10. 1 mile from Downtown Palm Springs. Very relaxing stay just what we were looking for. Manager and staff were so nice and awesome hosts. We will def be coming back to the Twist!

    JUST BOOK IT! My boyfriend and I just stayed for a quick weekend getaway and we loved the hotel. The rooms so so eye catching and include a full kitchen (Fridge, Dishwasher, plates, silverware, pots, pans, blender) and had a HUGE patio with a fire place, lounge chairs and a couch. They had bikes that we can take for free into downtown palm springs which was way better than walking. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves and got to listen to music and drink. The best part was the easy communication you have with the host. They provided phone numbers for during the day and after hours that you can text and they reply so fast. The host even offered free margaritas while we were at the pool. We really enjoyed our stay and will DEFINITELY be returning and recommending it to other friends and family who plan to come to Palm Springs.

    What a great little place! It has everything you need to live here! The rooms are very Palm Springs! It's a bit of a walk to downtown but I love to walk so I enjoyed that! Kim is the GM and she's great! The pool and jacuzzi are a lot of fun! The beds and shower are comfortable! I will stay here again

    We booked our reservation through a 3rd party website. No problem there, we booked a superior studio king with a living space with sofa and put in a request to be put in a room that had a patio with lounge chairs and an outdoor fire pit. (I had stayed there before and loved the extra private outdoor space away from the pool) we received an email saying no problem On the request we moved you to room # xxx. Great! We were surprised when they checked us into a different room number which was smaller and didn't have the sofa or the outdoor fire pit. We asked to be put into the room they told us we could have and they said it was taken. Well that's weird? Why send us an email saying the exact room number but then giving it away? They moved us to a bigger room upstairs... but no loungers or fire pit because the deck was small... ironically they put us right above the room they promised us?!? This wasn't a busy weekend day, we checked in on a Monday, and they said it was slow for them right now, so I'm not sure why they couldn't have accommodated. We are also gold member on the third party site we booked through and when we booked they said we'd get a free bottle of bubbly at check in... well... we didn't so we had to awkwardly ask for it, we got it, took it up to the room and there were no champagne glasses, it was just one thing after another... BUT the pool was great, the location is great for walking to go out to eat, the staff was nice in spite of all the miss steps.

    It was a very nice overall hotel. Very good location and close to the downtown area. You have to do self check in but they provide the code by noon. The communication is AMAZING and they are quick to respond to any problems or issues. The only problem that I had was the water was not hot enough, but the place was very spacious and pretty clean. The staff were very nice and attentive. It's so close to stores by car or a 5-10 minute walk.

    I booked a few days here for some R&R and it was a nice stay - really lovely mid mod decor, a full kitchen with all the needed pots, pans, utensils, full sized fridge. There was plentiful free parking, 24 hr heated pool and jacuzzi, and a huge patio with fire pit and lounge chairs. The only gripe is that after 6pm there is no one to reach if there's a problem. All the communications are done via text with staff. I always prefer to stay at boutique hotels in PS if there's an option - normally I book at the Los Arboles but this time I wanted to be able to have a kitchen and have the option to cook my meals if I want to. The hotel was also located right off of Palm Canyon just a block from all the shops and restaurants - and right behind the first Tiki bar in PS. Nice staff, great location - All in all, a very decent stay and I would gladly stay again :)

    This is our second visit and we upgraded to a delux queen which had a separate bedroom, dressing area and large kitchen and living area that faced the mountains to the west. Everything was very clean and in good condition and check in was completely contactless. I love that the location is in the north design district area and there are loads of mid century houses in the neighborhoods nearby. Be aware that the soundproofing between rooms is minimal, we could hear our neighbors TV but they were not early risers or late night people so it was not an issue. Also the queen bedroom is not large, but it does have a small patio, a second TV, and the bed was very comfortable, plus you will want to spend most of your time on the main patio and of course touring Palm Springs.

    GUESTS BEWARE The Twist has kept $1839.38 of mine since October 2022, and getting it back OR even one person to return any of my correspondence about it, remains an absolute nightmare 7 months later. I see other reviews here where people said they were due a credit they never received or a booking was cancelled or changed last minute. I had a good stay with them before with a friendly person on location who is obviously no longer there. Huge loss. It looks to be a gamble on the type of experience you will have now. I cannot believe I have to post a review on both Twist & Elevation Property Management pages here, Google, and Facebook in the hopes of getting anyone there to talk to me and get my money back. My next stop is to the Better Business Bureau, and whoever will listen. This is so upsetting and hangs over me constantly. I had to cancel more than a week before my stay, due to a death in the family - which adheres to their policy. My numerous contacts to the hotel and to their property management contact at Elevation Property Management remain unanswered. There is no way to reach a live person at the hotel; all calls are forwarded to a voicemail that is many times full and cannot accept messages - SO frustrating! The published number for Elevation Property Management goes to the accountant - but not for the Twist. He could not help me, but reassured me after each of my 3 calls to him that he could only pass along my message to the rightful manager, Joe. I've gone to the hotel twice while in town, only to find the front gate always locked and no one to flag down. Their Cancellation Policy states: "Reservations may be canceled up to 7x days prior to your arrival (168 hours prior to the 3 pm check-in time). There is a $45 or 3% cancellation fee (whichever is greater) for reservations canceled more than 7x days prior to arrival." I cancelled my reservation 7 days, 22 hours, 41 minutes (190 hours, rounded down), which is within that time frame. The most I should have paid was the $45 cancellation fee. 10/10/22: Booked a room, paid $1,830.38, which included taxes 10/18/22: Cancelled reservation via email to Reservations at the Twist almost 8 days before the reservation 10/25/22: Received text from Twist asking me to complete registration paperwork via email; I immediately texted back reminding them I had cancelled on 10/18 and attached a copy of the email I had sent. Received a reply back that they were sorry to see I had cancelled. I continued to call both the Twist and Elevation Property Management to no avail. 2/20/23: Reached Rick at Elevation Management who said he was on his way out of town, to email him and he'd pass the message along to the Twist Property Manager. I immediately emailed Rick with all pertinent information. No Response. 2/26/23: Sent another email to Rick to follow up. No Response. I then called Rick who did not answer, UNTIL I called from a different number. I told him I would have to resort to posting a review if Joe, or whomever was now in charge of the Twist, did not call me back. So here I am, 7 months later. I have copies of all correspondence. Avoid until if and when they have guest relations under control and they actually follow through with their policies and return guests' funds when they are entitled to the refund.

Linda who is the manager of the facility and her staff are the most caring, kind and attentive care providers I've come across. Seth, the owner, has a heart of gold and you can tell this has been a heart mission for him. He is so involved with all residents and ensuring that their needs are met. The level of care and love from everyone is a reflection of the top down model exemplified by Seth and Linda.     UPDATE [April 2025]: Correcting management's claims: I sued the property owner (Prism Arenas Road,…read moreLP), NOT the collection agency, and WON (Case #SCPS2400951, Palm Springs Courthouse, Dept PS4). The judgment remains UNPAID. You didn't "correct" my move-out statement - you based calculations on the wrong deposit amount ($750 vs $1050) and charged unallowable fees under California Civil Code 1950.5 for cleaning ($280), carpet cleaning ($175), and touch-up paint ($90), along with many other errors. You stonewalled me for months then sent me to collections. The debt STILL remains on my credit report despite my court victory. If you truly "wish me the best," contact National Credit Systems to remove this false debt you are responsible for. They won't, despite having received my judgment. Your claim of being "eager to help" is contradicted by your actions - ignoring my communications for months and not showing up to court to defend your charges. For those concerned about similar treatment, check other reviews here on Yelp describing identical situations. You can message me directly on this site. I'd be happy to help. I've filed a complaint with the CFPB and continue fighting to clear my credit. It shouldn't take over a year of court proceedings to clear my name for debt I never owed. The treatment from this property is not only scandalous, it's shameful. Consider how many former tenants don't have the time to write reviews or the resources to fight back and simply accept the financial loss. If their claim against me hadn't been SO outrageous, I might have done just that, just to be done with it. But why should they get away with illegal charges and false calculations? And who wants to spend over a year in court for a security deposit? I hope others can benefit from my experience and save themselves the hassle. See my Equifax credit report below. Their debt collection agency refuses to remove this debt despite my court judgement. I moved out April 10 2024. I've disputed the debt, provided my judgment, yet it's still there because the collection agency refuses to correct it. Apparently it stays on your credit report for 7 YEARS!!! A debt I never owed, as confirmed by a judge. I continue to pay the price, even a year later, for the "mistakes" of Cannon Management. Unacceptable.

    DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!! This place is hell on earth. I rented an apartment here from 2019-2024. Where…read moredo I begin... the management company (Wonderdog Management) is horrible at business. Nothing I ever requested was a priority until I would have to get Code Compliance involved. The upstairs units are all falling apart. I and every single neighbor I knew had leeks. Water bubbling under the paint on the walls. Water coming out of the ceiling fans. And they would turn the water off at least once a week for 5 years for "emergency plumbing issues." And then there's the Roach infestation issue. The entire complex is infested with roaches. No mater how clean we kept our apartments, they were everywhere. It was a complete nightmare and they never took urgency to have pest control come. They never came to seal holes in the walls despite many maintenance requests. And then there's the crime issue. The neighbors were great the driest three years I lived there. BUT, they signed on to turn the upstairs units into Section 8 Housing and did not inform us of that. Slowly as people moved out and new ones in, the place became extremely rif-raffy. Packages were constantly stolen in front of our doors. You could smell meth in the air. And domestic disputes became the normal. I would have to call the cops every couple of nights for a while because I could here violent fights through the walls. Just awful. And they never wound up evicting the troublesome neighbors. In the end, I took really good care of my unit best that I could and thoroughly deep cleaned it when I moved out. It was left much cleaner than when I moved in. however, they made up fake repairs and said even tho the apartment was spotless, I would still be charged for a cleaning fee because I did not have it professionally cleaned. It never stated that in my lease. I only got back $195 of my deposit. They are a shady, scummy company and again, I warn you DO NOT RENT HERE.
