Grabbed a preroll while I was visiting Seward, it was yummy and good price. I enjoyed it and the shop was good : ).

Sewards sole dispensary is located on 4th street, just a few storefronts away from where we ate dinner at the Flamingo Lounge. The Tufted Puffin and it's neighboring businesses gave me lower 48 vibes. Staff were friendly and informative. Storefront was bright and clean. They carry quality product and what's best about them, is their joints are all flower (no trim). Prices are average. Add The Tufted Puffin to your Seward must visits. read more

So, funny enough, I didn't know we'd care this much, but after a week last summer on an otherwise fantastic Alaska cruise where the sun didn't set until midnight and then came back up at 4 AM (and that had much stricter rules regarding no weed, or even cbd, than either Alaska or Canada, even though weed is legal both where we left, and where we went, and cbd is so legal freaking everywhere, cause that makes logical sense)... we, at the end of the week, with another week in Alaska before we came home, were *surprisingly* so glad downtown Seward near where we were staying, just happened to have one good dispensary. The midnight sun had been affecting my sleep badly, and my cbd helps a chronic issue for my wife that had been acting up - I hadn't looked for a dispensary before the trip, but when we got to the hotel, I checked yelp first thing! I will say, it might just be because it's Alaska, but their edibles are kinda pricey compared to what I'm used to. I'm not dinging them for that, though, since they were pricey everywhere else we looked during the trip (mainly out of curiosity), too - in Juneau, Ketchikan, and for that matter, Vancouver, too. I think we're just lucky living in California! They did have one super affordable 500 mg cbd tincture at the time, though, so my wife was happy there! (Plus, even the freaking *tsa* lets you fly with cbd... my local *coffee* shop sells stuff with cbd, it makes no sense. Haha.) On the other hand, their prices for their house prerolls were *totally* reasonable! ($5 for a .5g preroll, as of a few months ago). And the budtender I talked to was great - I told her I was looking for something to help with sleeping, she got me one of their house prerolls (indica-dominant, 50-50 with THCA), actually got some sleep that night! read more

My partner partakes, so I like to check out the weed shops to evaluate value and customer service when my honey checks out a new place. The folks at the shop were really nice and I really liked the layout of this Cannabis/hemp/hippie grouping if stores. They had some nice art and awesome music for sale. Scored some great Blackwater Railroad CDs from their manager who apparently works there for a very reasonable price! read more

Friendly place. You are met with a smile. The owner was helpful and informative in choosing the right product for pain relief. NY has a lot to learn about it's recreational marijuana laws. If I'm ever back up this way, I'll definitely stop in. read more
