Absolutely loved this gift shop during our trip to Seward. We came late in the tourist season to visit Kenai Fjords National Park, and the visitor center was already closed. Always love picking up some national park souvenirs on our adventures and was disappointed that our go-to shop was closed. However, we found nearly everything we normally buy here! And there selection is massive - so much to choose from, all at affordable prices. Souvenirs from Alaska, Kenai, Seward... you name it, we found it. Ok I never thought I would say this about a tourist shop that sells stuff made in China, but this place isn't terrible- and here's why. In a small town that struggles to survive through the long winter like Seward, this shop does something remarkable. They also sell Native Made goods CHEAPER THAN ANCHORAGE. I am an advocate of selling as much local, native made goods as possible. I had a conversation with the buyer at the store and he was telling me with each passing year there are less native carvers and artists because elders are passing away. They have some incredible pieces of art in the store. For people that don't have large sums of money to invest in art pieces, they have some local pieces of jewelry, Alaska themed shirts and hats, stickers, mugs, magnets, books and cook books, etc. They have also have a whole aisle of toys for out-of-towners who are desperate to satisfy a whiny kiddo during a trip. They even have ponchos, backpacks, umbrellas and other immediate need items that are often very hard to find in a town this size. Honestly, don't judge and book by its cover. This place has you covered. read more

The was the best shop to get souvenirs if you're a tourist. They had so many different shirts, hats, stickers, magnets, even hand carved statues. They were pretty cheaper than the stores at the malls and even at Walmart (my travel group Hawaii went to at least five different Walmarts. Yes, we have Walmarts in Hawaii but we had a friend who let us use his employee discount). I found a really cute wood carved otter magnet to add to my otter magnet collection on my fridge. I also got a bunch of stickers. Some were funny like the puffin sticker that puffed on weed (Alaska's got a lot of weed shops). This shop was a really great find in Seward and I know next time I'm visiting I'll return here for more souvenirs. read more

based on all the other reviews, i'm sure this store has a solid selection of cool gifts, wear, and souvenirs but i wouldn't actually know because I was rudely kicked out as soon as i walked in. I had barely made it past the entrance when we heard "out. out the door now" and turned around to realize it was in fact the man behind the counter. I totally understand if support animals (my dog isn't a service animal but is trained as a calm and placid support dog to my autistic little cousin) aren't allowed in certain stores if that's their policy, but there's no excuse for rude behavior towards anyone who doesn't know better. very poor service, it's a shame since the store looked pretty nice read more

This is a fairly big gift store in the center of Seward. It's NOT located near the docks. There are approximately four long aisles of various gifts and souvenirs. You'll find numerous hats, tee shirts and stickers that say "Alaska" on them. I got some kick-ass lanyard key chains and several stickers to bring back with me to the lower 48. Prices are reasonable too. read more

A great shop in Seward with inexpensive gifts for family and friends at home. We bought books, postcards, Christmas ornaments, fridge magnets, keychains and lots of pairs of earrings for folks at home. The check out at the register was immediate and the friendly clerk let us know a humpback whale was in the bay! Awesome!! read more

Great shop for anything Alaska plus more- right in center of Seward. Staff so nice too

We were very disappointed to find that the owner/manager of this store did not require customers to wear masks (summer of 2020 Covid pandemic) . There were a fair number of people in the store at one time and to us, it did not feel safe so we left. The woman behind the cash register had a mask but the entire time we were there it was not on her face but rather pulled down on her chin. I write this because many other establishments in Seward required and promoted masks which we appreciated for our own health and well being and that of others. This was not one of them. read more

First off, this place is a very cool place to find Alaskan gifts and items, whether they be for Alaskans or for people from the states. I bought a beautiful octopus print for my brother, and sent it to him for Christmas. I called to find out what the dimensions were so I could get a frame made it after the fact. I spoke to Rachel who went and measured it for me and was just amazingly helpful. read more

Just returned from my trip to Alaska and this shop in Seward was hands-down the best place I found for authentic and museum-quality Native American art. GORGEOUS carvings from a variety of materials... soapstone but then also tusks, whale bone, etc. They also have tons of alaskan themed gifts like t-shirts, hats, socks, mugs, picture albums books and so much more! I completely indulged and purchased an inspired carving of a humpback whale done on a whale scapula. I will cherish my purchase forever! This gift shop is not only well-stocked and the goods well-spaced, the service is excellent! How many times might the attendant hear, "Do you have a stuffed puffin?" Well no matter, she was courteous and dropped what she was doing to help us find, yes, a stuffed puffin. Excellent service, great variety of products. I wish I could have stayed longer. read more
