As soon as they saw I was asking for help, they scattered like roaches. I never saw the doctor, never got a call from the office manager and now am stuck. I am blessed with many terrific doctors. Dr. Trokhan, however, stands out among them. She is beyond kind, caring, polite, and extremely professional. Her efficient staff is delightful. Dr. Trokhan listens carefully and expertly treats whatever problem arises with deft and skillfulness. She is consistent and thorough in her treatment. She also returns calls when necessary and is exceptional and rare in this capacity. My experience over the years in dealing with Dr. Trokhan has been nothing short of outstanding. I waited 45 minutes *in the room* to see the doctor and then decided to leave. I heard other people complaining about waiting, too. The straw that broke the camels back was when the receptionist rolled her eyes at me when I told her I have a baby at home and needed to let my babysitter know I'd be a lot longer than anticipated. Stay away!!! I had awful experience. I made an appointment to remove corn on my foot and mole removal. Receptionist didn't say anything to make the appointment even though the doctor doesn't provide the corn removal service in general. At the visit, First there is always long wait for no reason at least 30 to 50 min wait even though waiting area is almost empty. after long wait the doctor said first thing as soon as she entered the room she doesn't provide corn removal in general, it is not listed on their website as well, and refer to the different doctor, and only removed moles. Now once insurance bill came and I see $150 was requested to my insurance company for corn removal even though there was absolutely nothing to do with it. Receptionist knew they don't provide corn removal service as well as the doctor. Why I am getting charged for the service they don't provide?! I should be told during the appointment to begin with... When I called billing department i was threaten that they will request to go collection agency.... and worst part is it left the scar on my face after mole removal. I will NEVER go back there again. read more

Stay away! Total disregard for your well-being during this pandemic. Virtually no safety protocols, with the exception of wearing masks, are in place to minimize the spread of COVID-19. When I made my appointment, I was really surprised that the Trokhan Group is not following what other doctors and dentists are doing: Texting arrival from the parking lot, and then getting screened before entering. This is standard practice... just not here. I entered the practice ten minutes before my appointment with all my paperwork in hand. I was very surprised that no one took my temperature, no one asked me if I had any COVID-19 symptoms. (I was also surprised that the EIGHT pages of questionnaires I had to complete had not one question about my orthopedic injury; all the questions had to do with moles, hair, spider veins, etc., regarding the wife's dermatology practice, but I digress). As I waited and waited, more and more patients entered. Patients came out of the exam room and stood around yakking with each other. The poor receptionist kept repeating into the phone, "I am sorry, I cannot hear you!" Of course she could not hear, there were SIXTEEN people sitting, standing and meandering around the very small lobby. All the seats were close to one another. Two older women sat down on either side of me, our elbows were nearly touching. No one was six feet apart, not the office employees, not the patients and not the medical staff. I was there to see the orthopedist. There is no way in Hades would I allow anyone from this dermatology practice touch my face! After I waited in this uncomfortable environment for 25 minutes, I told the receptionist I would wait outside because I was not comfortable at all. I didn't get a phone call, so I walked five minutes to my car and drove away. After awhile, I called the front office to let them know that as a mom to a child with a brain tumor, I have been to many specialists' offices and three medical centers since March. None had this complete disregard for patients' and employees' safety. I told the woman that my heart went out to her because she clearly works in a very difficult place. I asked to speak to the doctor with whom I had an appointment to explain why I left. He was too busy to talk. I bet you he was not busy sanitizing his exam rooms. ZERO STARS. I then called Bergen County Dept of Health, but their "Hotline" mailbox was full and I could not leave a message. Stellar. LESSONS LEARNED: I must always ask to speak to the office manager and learn what their practices are. If I had done that like I usually do, I would not have wasted three hours of my life today. I am going to call my dog groomer today and congratulate her on implementing better safety procedures than these "medical experts." Read the reviews but take notice of the dates. Yes, there are favorable ones from years ago. No favorable ones from this year. read more

Dr. Trokhan and Dr. Reed are excellent dermatologists! They're both thorough and patient. They've done excellent work on my sun spots and blemishes. 1 star is knocked off for the very long wait times, usually around an hour read more

RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL and HORRIBLE Customer Service. The front desk staff couldn't be more horrendous if they tried. Brought my teen daughter here twice. Both times the obnoxious women couldn't have been more rude and uninviting. Today a mistake was made on an appointment time. It was obvious by our timing and demeanor that we had no idea the mistake was made. The staff couldn't even bother to look up from the computer or remedy the situation. They merely said the appointment was an hour ago and we are booked. They never bothered to help us reschedule. If you are customer facing you should have a personality suitable to treating your clients as if they are important. The fact that the doctors at this office allow this to the representation of their office is astounding. They need to take a class in kindness and problem solving since they already have rude and disrespectful down to a science.
