Between the compound/open fracture and the other broken bones, my morning started off tragically wrong. Thankfully, Dr. Tam is more skilled than all the king's horses and all the king's men because he was able to put me back together again! Dr. Tam impressed me with his straight-forward "this is what I would do if it were me" approach. I like options, but he isn't afraid to tell you what the best option is. Before surgery, he put his hand on my shoulder and let told me, "You'll be alright." He assured me he would do his best. His tone and the warmth of a human touch comforted me. I was very impressed by his skill. This isn't his first rodeo and he is very familiar with the ins and outs of surgery. I'm pretty sure he gave me a Borg implant, take a look at the picture and tell me what you think! I hope I don't start saying, "Resistance is futile!"
